Automation Today Magazine announces leadership appointment decision

In order to complete the leadership of the Today's Automation Magazine for the 2024-2029 term, with the approval of the Central Propaganda Department and the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Vietnam Automation Association has carried out procedures to appoint Journalist Tran Thi Giang as Editor-in-Chief of the magazine. Journalist Pham Tuan Anh was appointed as Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Magazine.

Journalist Tran Thi Giang and journalist Pham Tuan Anh received the appointment decision from the leaders of the Vietnam Automation Association.

Journalist Tran Thi Giang and Journalist Pham Tuan Anh are both journalists with twenty years of experience working in the field of journalism and media, graduated with a Master's degree in political theory and a Certificate of State Management in journalism, have solid professional capacity, and have held important responsibilities in many leadership and management positions of specialized press agencies.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Quan - Chairman of the Vietnam Automation Association highly appreciated the role of Today's Automation Magazine in all aspects of the Association's activities in particular and in the fields of high technology, automation technology, measurement and control in Vietnam in general. The Association's leaders always support and create all conditions for the Magazine to operate smoothly.

At the same time, Dr. Nguyen Quan hopes that in the coming time, the Editorial Board of the Journal will continue to maintain and develop the Journal to continue the Journal's 23-year operation. " To do that, the Association hopes that the leaders need to manage the editorial office to ensure compliance with the Journal's regulations as well as the Association's Charter, comply with the objectives, content, form; all regulations of the State and the Association on the Journal's activities. Along with that, the Journal needs to have a press economic solution to thereby improve the quality of the team of reporters, editors, collaborators, improve the quality of printed and electronic magazines. This requires the Journal's leaders to always research solutions on how to organize the Journal closely following the Association's activities, serving scientists in the field of automation in the best way " - Dr. Nguyen Quan emphasized.

Editor-in-Chief Tran Thi Giang gave a speech accepting the assignment.

Speaking at the new assignment, Editor-in-Chief Tran Thi Giang expressed her gratitude to the Association's leaders for their deep concern, timely direction, and trust in entrusting the Magazine's Board of Directors with important responsibilities for the 2024-2029 term.

Editor-in-Chief Tran Thi Giang emphasized that the new step of the Journal is that in addition to the printed version of the Journal of Automation Today, which has been published for more than 23 years, the electronic Journal has been published for more than 5 years, there is now an additional issue of the Journal of Measurement, Control and Automation. This is the desire of the governing body, the Journal, and scientists over the past many years to realize the goal of building a prestigious national and internationally integrated specialized scientific journal.

“There are still many challenges ahead, but with the assigned tasks, I and the staff, reporters, and editors of the Magazine will continuously improve our capacity, qualifications, and strive to innovate to develop into a modern, trustworthy press agency in the field of science and technology in general and automation in particular, worthy of the trust and expectations of the Association's leaders as well as a large number of readers" - Editor-in-Chief Tran Thi Giang said.
