In the past time, the City's Association for Promoting Education and all levels of the Association have implemented the tasks of 2024, achieving and exceeding the basic goals and targets, achieving positive results in the fields of promoting learning, promoting talents and building a learning society. The Association at all levels and agencies, units and educational institutions have many solutions and forms of mobilizing social resources to create a higher fund compared to the previous year to award scholarships and prizes to students through long-term and short-term programs.
The movement to build a learning society and lifelong learning has mobilized most families, clans, and residential areas, becoming a large mass movement, gradually becoming effective and practical. The scholarship programs "Encouraging learning in Banking in Da Nang City", the Information Technology Specialized Training Scholarship Program coordinated by Passerelles Numeriques with Da Nang Vocational College, the Asahi Daily Scholarship Program in collaboration with Minh Viet Japanese Language Center, Thien Tam Scholarship Fund and Da Nang City Association in Ho Chi Minh City, awarding Co Tu ethnic students who overcome difficulties and are studious of Ms. Nong Thi Ngoc Minh's family,... and many scholarship programs and awards in localities, establishments, clans, individuals,... have contributed significantly to the scientific and social security work of Da Nang City in the past year.
According to Mr. Nguyen Minh Hung, Chairman of the Danang City Association for the Promotion of Education, identifying 2025 as the year to implement many new policies on national construction and city development, the City Association for the Promotion of Education will implement the Resolution of the 6th Congress (2021 - 2026) of the Vietnam Association for the Promotion of Education and the tasks assigned by the city; focusing on comprehensively implementing the construction of a learning society with 09 key tasks. Continuing to implement digital transformation in the system of Associations for the Promotion of Education at all levels; the movement "Each citizen self-study, lifelong learning, meeting the requirements of sustainable development in the digital transformation period". Consulting and coordinating with Party committees, authorities, education and training sectors at all levels to implement the Learning Week; coordinating to review the effectiveness and organize activities at cultural, sports and community learning centers of communes and wards, especially merged units.
At the same time, coordinate with the Department of Education and Training and Hanoi Open University to deploy a software toolkit to evaluate, score, and recognize the learning society model, adding group 4 of students aged 15 and over; contributing to the decision to evaluate and recognize learning communities at all levels in 2025. Research the process, procedures, and prepare a registration dossier for building the UNESCO "Global Learning City" network for Da Nang city.
