(Fatherland) - In order to honor outstanding individuals and collectives, and to inspire the spirit of creativity and dedication of those working in arts and literature, on the evening of January 11 at the Hai Phong City Theater, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism presided over and coordinated with the Hai Phong City People's Committee to organize a program to introduce typical artists and some outstanding books in the fields of performing arts and literature in 2024. The program is not only an opportunity to look back on achievements but also a place to gather typical faces - artists, writers, and excellent works, representing the continuous creativity of the country's arts and literature.

Speaking at the Program, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung emphasized that the program was organized after the success of the Conference to meet with artists and writers chaired by General Secretary To Lam in Hanoi on December 30, 2024. Speaking at the Conference, the General Secretary affirmed: "The most noble mission of the revolutionary artists and writers is to create cultural personalities and build socialist people".

According to Minister Nguyen Van Hung, looking back on the journey from the beginning of the term until now, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has proactively coordinated closely with departments, ministries, branches, localities, and specialized associations to make efforts to preserve and promote the fine traditional values ​​of Vietnamese culture, constantly researching, creating and developing, aiming for new artistic heights, striving for great works that comprehensively and deeply reflect the reality of innovation and development of the nation, contributing to spreading Vietnamese culture to international friends.

Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung said that in 2024, through 6 professional art competitions and festivals organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on a national and international scale, in many different forms, along with thousands of performances by art troupes across the country, unique art programs attracting hundreds of thousands of audiences, the innovation of the performing arts sector will not only meet political requirements and the people's need to enjoy culture, but also help the cultural sector discover and honor the talents, dedication and positive contributions of the artists; they are "beautiful flowers in the art garden", making positive contributions to the country's art fields.

Minister Nguyen Van Hung hopes and believes that the artists nationwide will inherit and promote the achieved results, continue to "work enthusiastically in the art field", create great works of value in terms of ideology, art, humanity, attract the public, arouse the ability to select the subtle, the good, position oneself, values, national identity associated with the desire to integrate and contribute in each person, that will be "a soft shield to eliminate the offensive, uncultured".

At the program, the Organizing Committee honored 34 outstanding artists and actors who won Gold medals and First prizes at national professional art festivals, organized by the Department of Performing Arts in coordination with the Vietnam Musicians' Association, the Vietnam Dance Artists' Association, the Vietnam Stage Artists' Association and related units in 2024, including: National Drama Festival, International Dance Festival; National Music and Dance Festival; National Cai Luong Festival.

Singer Tran Minh Hieu (Rapper HIEUTHUHAI) received the Outstanding Young Face of the Year 2024 award

Sharing his feelings when receiving the Outstanding Young Face Award 2024, singer Tran Minh Hieu said that this is an extremely meaningful award to him, and he will consider it a great source of motivation to try and develop more creatively in the future.

People's Artist Vu Tu Long received the Inspirational Artist award and singer Tung Duong received the Outstanding Singer of the Year 2024 award.

With the Outstanding Singer of the Year 2024 award, singer Tung Duong was moved when he received this award for the second time. He sent his thanks to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for giving it and he will not disappoint the trust and love of the audience.

Actors Nguyen Vinh Xuong and Ngoc Xuan received the award for outstanding television and film actors in 2024.

The Organizing Committee also honored outstanding artists and programs in 10 categories including: Outstanding TV actor of the year (actor Nguyen Vinh Xuong, film "Doc Dao"); Outstanding TV actress of the year (Meeting you on a sunny day"); Outstanding movie actor of the year (actor Ngoc Xuan, film "Ngay Xua Co Mot Chuyen Tinh"); Outstanding singer of the year (singer Tung Duong); Outstanding young face of the year (singer Tran Minh Hieu - rapper HIEUTHUHAI); Inspirational artist of the year (People's Artist Tu Long); Music and dance live show of the year ("Sketch a Rose" - singer Ha Anh Tuan); Outstanding music and dance music MV of the year ("Don't make my heart hurt" - Son Tung M-TP); Outstanding political art program of the year ("Dien Bien Phu - Golden historical milestone" - Vietnam National Opera and Ballet Theater); Outstanding performance program of the year (Concert "Anh trai vuon "Thousand Thorns", Concert "Anh trai say hi").

In 2024, the outstanding singers have left a strong mark through impressive songs, top-notch performances and constant efforts to bring memorable musical experiences. They are typical representatives, inspiring the modern Vietnamese music scene.
