The project to upgrade the embankment and roads on both sides of the Tri River (Hung Tri Ward, Ky Anh Town, Ha Tinh) has a total investment of 227 billion VND (from the capital of the Dynamic Urban Development Project - Ky Anh Urban Sub-project, loan from the World Bank - WB). |
The project has a length of more than 3km on both sides of the river, connecting from Tri River Bridge (Hung Tri Ward, Ky Anh Town) to Cau Market area (Ky Chau Commune, Ky Anh District). |
The project started construction in early September 2024, constructed by a consortium of Vietnam Agricultural Construction Corporation, Bac A Construction and Trade Joint Stock Company and 555 Construction and Trade Services Joint Stock Company. After nearly 5 months of construction, many project items have now taken shape. |
The project aims to upgrade and improve the landscape infrastructure, complete the embankment and road system on both sides of the Tri River, thereby creating urban highlights along both sides of the river, contributing to completing the criteria for Ky Anh town to become a city by the end of 2025. |
These days, hundreds of workers from various units are speeding up construction progress, reinforcing embankments, and constructing roads along the riverbank. “The project’s progress is more than 50%. Prolonged rain and rising and falling tides have made construction difficult, but the unit has always taken advantage of favorable weather, working day and night to ensure progress,” said a representative of the Vietnam Agricultural Construction Corporation. |
Components and machinery are fully assembled around the project, ensuring construction and early completion of the project. |
Continuous rain in recent days has made the roads along both banks of the Tri River muddy, making it difficult to transport construction materials. |
“The deepest part of the embankment is more than 3m, encroaching on the river to ensure safety. Up to now, the unit has completed 60% of the contract value. The expected handover date is April 30, so the unit has accelerated the progress, working day and night, taking advantage of the low tide to complete the project,” said Mr. Ho Tien Dung - Site Commander of Construction and Service Trading Joint Stock Company 555. Speaking with Tien Phong reporter, Mr. Vo Xuan Hien - Deputy Director of Ky Anh Town Construction Project Management Board (project investor) said: "The project has reached more than 65% of the volume, although the weather has been rainy and difficult recently, the investor requested the units to speed up the progress, work overtime, and increase shifts to complete the project as soon as possible".
