(QBĐT) - Each example of “Three Good Students” has an inspiring story, as well as affirming the image of a generation of dynamic, responsible and constantly improving students. Doan Hoa Ngoc and Le Truong Thinh are two of many such outstanding students.
Doan Hoa Ngoc (born in 2007), a 12A1 student at Le Hong Phong High School (Ba Don Town) impressed with her excellent academic achievements and her enthusiasm in group activities. In the 2023-2024 school year, Ngoc won third prize in Literature in the provincial excellent student competition and many awards at the provincial English Olympic competitions.
Ngoc confided: “Since childhood, I have been accustomed to self-study and self-improvement. As someone who loves literature and is passionate about foreign languages, I always believe that “Literature is the moon that illuminates the soul, and foreign languages are the door that opens the world”. Therefore, without the conditions to take extra classes, I have persevered in practicing by myself using learning methods at home, especially for English, I always spend time improving my skills”.

Not only is she a shining example in her studies, Ngoc is also an enthusiastic leader in volunteer campaigns such as: “Hoa Phuong Do”, “Tiep Suc Mua Thi”… and music playgrounds. Ngoc founded the “PMC-Le Hong Phong Music Club” since grade 10. Up to now, the club has had more than 30 members, contributing to bringing special musical performances to extracurricular activities at the school.
In particular, with a series of exciting and impressive youth activities, in 2023, I was the only delegate from Quang Binh province to attend the cultural exchange and development program "National Grand YouthCamp" organized by the US Embassy in Vietnam in Hanoi.
For Le Truong Thinh (born 2007), a 12A3 student at Ninh Chau High School (Quang Ninh), he is a typical example of the spirit of overcoming difficulties and the desire to conquer knowledge. Thinh is the excellent student who won third prize in the third round of the competition, January, quarter 4/2024 of the program "Road to Olympia". With his courage and quickness, Thinh left his mark in the competition, bringing pride to Ninh Chau High School and his hometown Quang Binh.
Thinh is also an active volunteer in Union activities, such as: Green Summer Campaign and supporting the local community... "The experiences from Union activities not only help me improve myself but also broaden my vision. That is the foundation for me to aim for bigger goals in the future", Thinh shared.

The two stories and two shining examples from Doan Hoa Ngoc and Le Truong Thinh have proven that the journey to achieve the title of “3 Good Students” is not only a personal achievement but also a source of pride for the whole community. Their efforts have motivated their peers and affirmed the value of the “3 Good Students” movement in the province.
According to Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union Dinh Trung Hieu: “The title of “3 Good Students” is not only a reward for personal efforts but also a motivation for other young people to follow, contributing to spreading positive values in the community. They are proof of the spirit of continuous learning, training and dedication. In particular, Doan Hoa Ngoc and Le Truong Thinh are 2 of 19 outstanding faces honored with the title of “3 Good Students” at the Central level taking place in early January 2025 in Hanoi, on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Traditional Day of Students and the Vietnam Student Association (January 9, 1950 - January 9, 2025). Thereby, creating positive influences, encouraging students to continue to strive to excel, and also contributing to promoting the attention and support from family, school and society”.
| In 2024, Quang Binh was honored to have 19 students recognized by the Central Youth Union as "3 Good Students". The title "3 Good Students" is a noble recognition for high school students and vocational education and continuing education centers nationwide with excellent achievements, meeting all the criteria: Good study, good training, outstanding physical strength and actively participating in Youth Union activities and volunteer movements. |
