Recently, Hana Tour - the largest travel company in Korea announced that Vietnam continues to hold the number one position in the ranking of tourist destinations for Korean families with children under 10 years old. This is the second consecutive year that Vietnam has held this position.

According to Hana Tour, the trend of booking foreign travel in January 2025 by Korean families with children shows that Vietnam accounts for 26.6% of the total number of foreign travel bookings, topping the list of most popular destinations. The next positions belong to Japan (18.6%), the Philippines (13.7%), Guam (8.5%) and China (6.4%). In 2024, Vietnam will also lead this list with 24.4%, followed by Japan with 18.8%.

South Korea is the largest international tourist market of Khanh Hoa in particular and Vietnam in general. Currently, there are more than 20 direct flights from major cities of South Korea (Seoul, Busan, Daegu...) to Khanh Hoa every day. According to statistics from the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism), in January 2025, the Vietnamese tourism industry welcomed more than 417,000 South Korean visitors. Previously, in 2024, Vietnam welcomed nearly 4.6 million South Korean visitors, an increase of 27.1% compared to 2023.
