Budget revenue in 11 months reached over 1.8 million billion VND, exceeding the whole year target

ANTD.VN - State budget revenue in the first 11 months of the year reached 1,808.5 trillion VND, exceeding the 2024 budget revenue estimate by more than 6.3%.

According to the report of the Ministry of Finance, the total state budget revenue in November is estimated at 139.4 trillion VND, equal to 8.2% of the estimate.

In the first 11 months of the year, the state budget revenue reached 1,808.5 trillion VND. This figure exceeded the 2024 budget revenue estimate by more than 6.3% (the 2024 state budget revenue estimate according to the National Assembly Resolution is nearly 1,701 trillion VND), and increased sharply by 16.1% over the same period in 2023. Of this, the central budget revenue is estimated to reach about 110.1% of the estimate; local budget revenue is estimated to reach about 102.5% of the estimate.

Budget revenue from import-export activities increased sharply compared to the same period.

Regarding revenues, domestic revenue for 11 months is estimated at VND 1,506.5 trillion, equal to 104.3% of the estimate, up 16.8% over the same period in 2023. Excluding land use fees, lottery revenue, capital recovery, dividends, profits, after-tax profits and the difference between revenues and expenditures of the State Bank, domestic tax and fee revenue is estimated at 105.9% of the estimate, up 12.1% over the same period in 2023.

Revenue from crude oil is estimated at about VND 52.7 trillion, equal to 114.5% of the estimate, down 7.8% over the same period in 2023.

Balanced revenue from import-export activities is estimated at VND 248.6 trillion, equal to 121.9% of the estimate, up 18.6% over the same period in 2023. This revenue is based on total tax revenue estimated at VND 382.9 trillion (equal to 102.1% of the estimate, up 13.9% over the same period) and value-added tax refunds according to the regime of about VND 134.3 trillion, equal to 78.5% of the estimate.

Regarding state budget expenditure, accumulated in 11 months, budget expenditure is estimated to reach 73.6% of the estimate, up 4.7% over the same period in 2023.

Of which, development investment expenditure is estimated at 60.7% of the estimate decided by the National Assembly, reaching 60.43% of the plan assigned by the Prime Minister, decreasing in both value and ratio compared to the same period; debt interest payment is estimated at 82.2% of the estimate, up 6.4% over the same period; regular expenditure is estimated at 83.8% of the estimate, up 10.8% over the same period.

The central budget has spent 24.7 trillion VND from the 2024 reserve to supplement funding for national defense and security tasks and support localities in carrying out a number of important, sudden, and urgent tasks; funding for disease prevention and control and production recovery after natural disasters and epidemics (including an additional 430 billion VND to support 12 localities to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3 and stabilize people's lives).

In addition, implementing the Prime Minister's Decision, the Ministry of Finance has issued nearly 16,780 tons of national reserve rice to support localities in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, storms and floods, and providing relief and hunger relief for people (of which 433 tons were used to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3).

The Ministry of Finance also said that the balance of the central budget and local budgets in the past 11 months has been ensured. As of November 24, 2024, VND 319 trillion of government bonds have been issued, with an average maturity of 10.99 years and an average interest rate of 2.51% per year.
