(NLDO) – The price of SJC gold bars and gold rings continues to set new peaks, reaching 95 million VND/tael as world prices skyrocket.
At the end of March 13, SJC gold bar prices were listed by companies such as SJC, PNJ, DOJI at 92.9 million VND/tael for buying and 94.4 million VND/tael for selling, an increase of 200,000 VND/tael compared to the morning.
Some other businesses such as Mi Hong Company pushed the price of SJC gold bars up to 93.7 million VND/tael for buying and 94.7 million VND/tael for selling. This is a new record for the price of SJC gold bars. The price of gold bars increased for 3 consecutive days, totaling about 2 million VND/tael.
Not only gold bars, the price of gold rings and 99.99 gold jewelry also jumped.
SJC Company traded gold rings at 92.8 million VND/tael for purchase and 94.4 million VND/tael for sale. There was a difference in the price of gold rings between businesses. PNJ Company sold plain gold rings at up to 94.8 million VND/tael; Bao Tin Minh Chau pushed the price of plain gold rings to 95 million VND/tael, the highest level in history.
Domestic gold price hits new peak
The price of gold rings also exceeds that of SJC gold bars. This is a strange development of domestic gold prices.
Domestic gold prices skyrocketed following the world's upward trend. In the international market, gold prices today reached a peak when trading at 2,948 USD/ounce, up nearly 50 USD/ounce compared to the previous session.
According to analysts, gold prices are fluctuating unpredictably and abnormally. Because gold prices are increasing despite the recovery of the USD. The USD index on the international market tonight, Vietnam time, increased to 103.7 points, up about 0.11% compared to the previous session.
Demand for gold as a safe haven is growing as international investors fear an economic recession as tariff policies between the US and its trading partners remain tense.
Not only the world gold price, the domestic gold price is also considered to be fluctuating strangely. According to many investors, the price of SJC gold bars and gold rings is increasing faster than the world price, widening the gap.
Currently, the world gold price converted according to the listed exchange rate is about 91.3 million VND/tael, lower than SJC gold bars and gold rings by about 3.7 million VND/tael. The price of SJC gold bars, which was about 1 million VND higher than the world gold price, has widened the gap to 3.7 million VND/tael in just the past few weeks.
