In addition, Mr. Benni noted that the key directions for ASEAN to develop more strongly and consolidate its central role in the regional architecture mentioned by General Secretary To Lam are also noteworthy. In particular, based on the legacy and achievements of nearly 6 decades, ASEAN must apply innovative thinking and sharp strategies to create breakthroughs in regional connectivity and cooperation. General Secretary To Lam emphasized the need to enhance economic resilience, digital transformation and strengthen multilateralism to address emerging challenges.

By advocating for a visionary and responsive ASEAN, General Secretary To Lam reaffirmed Vietnam’s commitment to regional unity and progress, emphasizing the importance of cooperation among ASEAN member states to ensure continued prosperity and security in the region.

Meanwhile, Associate Professor, PhD, Senior Policy Advisor, Synergy Policies Research and Training Institute, Ms. Dinna Prapto Raharja, highly appreciated General Secretary To Lam's emphasis on the importance of ASEAN in Vietnam's strategy to move forward as a strong nation. This shows that Vietnam supports and promotes cooperation with all neighboring Southeast Asian countries for common benefits.

According to Ms. Dinna, General Secretary To Lam's mention of the multi-centric world and the challenges for ASEAN in navigating these changes shows that ASEAN needs a stronger driving force.

However, it is clear that other countries are also implementing various reforms and establishing different measures to ensure that they are not left behind.

Ms. Dinna said that countries around the world in general are not only looking towards economic cooperation but also concerned about the impacts on political security and people. She affirmed that ASEAN needs to be present in this context, and expressed her joy that Vietnam has brought ASEAN into that picture./.
