Optimism from big projects
Entering 2025, the socio-economic situation is forecasted to still face many challenges. However, Dak Nong still has bright colors to look forward to in implementing the set budget revenue target.
These are major projects that have been, are being and will be implemented such as: Gia Nghia - Chon Thanh Expressway Project, bauxite - alumina complex, renewable energy project, fertilizer factory... Many major projects in the fields of agriculture and tourism are being researched by investors, waiting for investment policies in Dak Nong.
Priority sectors include industry, agriculture, urban areas, tourism, trade and services. In particular, the province focuses on attracting projects with advanced technology, high technology and environmental friendliness to ensure sustainable development.
In addition, projects in the tourism and service sectors also promise to bring in significant revenue through attracting tourists and developing related services. All are considered a new wind to promote the local economy, which directly contributes to the State budget.
“Many major difficulties such as planning and bauxite are gradually being resolved positively. Delayed projects will be accelerated. The province will attract investors with many projects. With these advantages, we are completely confident that Dak Nong will achieve high results in budget collection,” said Nghiem Hong Quang, Director of Dak Nong Department of Finance.
Up to now, Dak Nong has attracted 412 non-budget investment projects, with a total registered capital of VND85,500 billion. Of these, 399 projects are from domestic capital sources, accounting for 79.5% of the total registered investment capital.
Strive to exceed goals
To strive for the highest budget growth results, in 2025, Dak Nong needs to continue to promote the implementation of large projects and effectively exploit potential revenue sources.
In the short term, Dak Nong will create favorable conditions for investors, promptly resolve problems, and provide support during project implementation. In the long term, the province will focus on key solutions.
Director of the Department of Finance Nghiem Hong Quang said that the Finance sector has been setting its own tasks. The sector continues to implement management processes well and promote tax administrative procedure reform.
The whole sector will improve the quality of propaganda work and support people and businesses in many fields. Many tax exemption and reduction policies for people and businesses will be actively implemented by the Finance sector.
Through these forms, the whole industry will remove difficulties and create the most favorable conditions for taxpayers to operate effectively. Thereby, contributing to increasing the general budget revenue.
To do this, every year, departments, branches and local authorities focus on closely directing relevant agencies and units to closely coordinate with tax and customs authorities to strengthen revenue management. For large revenues and newly arising revenues, the coordination of many sectors is very necessary.
During the implementation process, difficulties and problems, especially those related to tax, fee, and charge revenues, must be promptly resolved.
Districts and cities shall conduct statistics, review, and rearrange the public asset system for lease or auction of land use rights according to regulations.
All levels and sectors should organize inspections according to land use planning and plans to increase revenue from this sector. Site clearance for land and projects should also be accelerated to increase budget revenue.
With the synchronous implementation of the above solutions, Dak Nong expects to achieve the set State budget revenue targets, contributing to the sustainable socio-economic development of the province.
Regarding the field of state budget collection, at the Conference on assigning socio-economic targets for 2025 held on December 13, 2025, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi directed that Dak Nong must be truly determined and resolute.
“The leaders of the industry, districts and cities must enhance their responsibility. If we all make every effort, all difficulties and obstacles will have a way out,” affirmed Chairman of the Dak Nong Provincial People’s Committee Ho Van Muoi.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee directed that in 2025, localities will strengthen revenue management and ensure resources to serve socio-economic development goals.
The process of collecting the State budget must be strictly managed. For potential areas, the province needs to exploit remaining revenue sources, promote land use fee collection, and develop production to increase revenue from the non-state sector.
The Finance Department coordinates with relevant units to regularly monitor and update State budget revenue data in the area.
On this basis, the whole industry promptly advised the Provincial People's Committee on plans to increase revenue, allocate and balance revenue sources in an effective and sustainable manner.
