Since then, the beekeeping profession in Vu Quang district has continuously developed. Currently, there are over 11 thousand honey bee colonies in the district. In 2024, the profession of raising and processing honey has brought in nearly 20 billion VND in revenue for households.

Implementing the program: “One commune one product”, Vu Quang district has encouraged people to build ocop products based on locally available raw materials. Up to now, the district has 20 valid ocop products, all of which use local raw materials.
