She wrote: "I congratulate you - an excellent student of the class. You are an exceptional student in terms of thinking and language, and are always exemplary and creative in studying and training, achieving many achievements."

In the remaining letter, she wrote: "Congratulations on completing a school year and achieving many amazing achievements. Your teachers and I are very proud of you. The school will soon reward you by supporting all your tuition fees. I hope you continue to develop yourself, set goals and always maintain your passion for learning and life."

Speaking to Tuoi Tre Online , Ms. Diem Tram said that these were the first two letters of commendation she had written for her students. Although the school had many students who studied well and participated in Team activities well, Tuyet Anh and Nguyen Khoa (the two students who received the letters of commendation) were a little more special.

These two children were selected to participate in the program "City leaders meet and listen to children" organized by the City Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.

Ms. Diem Tram shared: "My letter of commendation is mainly to encourage the spirit. I personally admire the two children and want other students and parents to know the school's care and encouragement, so I wrote the letter of commendation. In the letter, I praised the achievements that the two children had, then expressed my sincerity to support the entire tuition fee for the school year."

In previous years, she also gave the best students in the grade pieces of wood with words of encouragement and her signature. This year, she made it more special. She secretly paid for the cost of this reward. Currently, she is also paying the tuition for two other students with difficult circumstances.

Students are excited, parents are happy

Nguyen Ngoc Tuyet Anh (class 8/2) said that when she heard that she received this special letter, she was very surprised and touched.

She said: "This award is a great source of encouragement for me. I think this is also a way to spread confidence to those who are passionate about activities and actively participate in the movement because their efforts are not only useful for others, but also for themselves."

She also always pays attention to students' activities, encourages them before exams, attends activities and gives praise or encouragement after exams.

Tuyet Anh remembers the image of the principal personally cooking hundreds of bowls of vermicelli soup with crab and vermicelli with meatballs before the drum and trumpet teams and the city-level excellent student teams "went into battle". When the teams won the highest prizes, she treated them to a grand buffet at school prepared by herself and the teachers.

She also often posts pictures of her students on her personal page, so students often see her social media "wall" as a quality news channel.

Nguyen Nguyen Khoa (class 8/8) was happy and excited to receive a letter of commendation from the principal. When he read the letter carefully, he exclaimed because he discovered that it was an announcement of a 100% tuition scholarship for the 2024-2025 school year.

Ms. My Hanh, Khoa's parent, shared: "I think this is a letter of encouragement, recognizing my child's efforts in studying, not that he was awarded a scholarship. My child has received many scholarships before, but the spiritual meaning and love from Ms. Tram and the school in this scholarship is very special, bringing me and my family great joy that I have never experienced before."

The principal has sent a photo of the letter of commendation to the students in advance. She will hand it to them on the opening day of school.

"In the future, if there are special students like that, I will think of other forms of reward to avoid repeating it," the principal shared.
