After the re-establishment of Quang Nam province in 1997, a force of photographers from Quang Nam was gathered from local movements. The Photography Branch of the Quang Nam Literature and Arts Association was also formed from this.
In 2003, the branch association recruited enough photographers and established a specialized branch in Quang Nam. From then on, creative activities in the arts and culture through photography continuously developed, gaining professional direction and growing stronger in both manpower and achievements.
Photographers across the country often remember each other through their acclaimed works. Sometimes, even if they haven't met in person, mentioning a work immediately brings to mind the author's name. It is these works that leave a lasting impression on photography enthusiasts and the public.

From the perspectives of people from Quang Nam province, images of heritage are also formed, primarily conveying the message of spreading the unique beauty of this heritage land.
Photographic works leave a lasting mark on each artist's life, energizing them to pursue their passion. In the context of Hoi An's heritage, one remembers Duong Phu Tam's "Hoi An in Memory," which won a FIAP International Bronze Medal; female photographer Thai Bich Thuan, who won the National Excellent Award in 2012 with her work "Visiting the City on a Rainy Day"; Mai Thanh Chuong with "Under the Rain," which won a National Gold Medal in 2012; and Le Trong Khang, who won first prize in the 2014 Vietnam Heritage Photo Contest with his work "Hoi An Night Lights"...

This is what contributes to the confidence of photographers from Quang Nam whenever they "take their talents abroad." Every day, these photographers expand their themes and creative areas, apply new technologies, and innovate their expressions, enriching their list of achievements each year.
To date, the Quang Nam Association of Literature and Arts has a photography force of 30 photographers, not including many others active in amateur photography clubs. Alongside them, members from the Central Association are present in the locality, working alongside a young, passionate, and dynamic force. It is they who will nurture and develop the photography movement in Quang Nam, continuing the mission of promoting the cultural values and landscapes of the homeland through their images.
