Investing in a wood processing factory with a capacity of 80,000 m3/year in Tan Bac Industrial Park

BHG - The Provincial People's Committee has just decided to approve the investment policy and investor of the Wood Processing Factory at Tan Bac Industrial Park (Quang Binh) with a capacity of 80,000 m3/year.

According to Decision No. 198, dated February 14, 2025 of the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial People's Committee decided to approve the investment policy of VDL Ha Giang Board Processing Factory in Tan Bac Industrial Park; at the same time, approved the investor as Vu Duy Lam Joint Stock Company, headquartered in Hoang Liet Ward, Hoang Mai District, Hanoi City.

The project's objective is to produce and process plywood, veneer... to serve the needs of domestic and foreign markets, generate revenue and profit for investors, and contribute to the local budget. The project has an expected land use area of ​​68,040 m2, including main construction items such as 2 production workshops, warehouses, offices and auxiliary works such as: Weighing station, technical infrastructure, drying yard... The designed capacity is 80,000 m3/year, with products and services provided being plywood, veneer, wood bars, plywood and other thin boards.

The total investment for the project is expected to be 30 billion VND, of which the investor's capital contribution is 9 billion VND and the credit institution's loan is 21 billion VND. The project's operation period is 50 years from the date the State allocates and leases the land for implementation.

It is expected that from the first quarter of 2025 to the end of the fourth quarter of 2025, the investor will complete the necessary legal procedures to ensure sufficient conditions to start construction; from the first quarter of 2026 to the end of the fourth quarter of 2026, start construction; and in the first quarter of 2027, complete the project and put it into operation.
