Festival "Children have fun, step up to the Youth Union"

Today, March 24, the "Children have fun, step up to the Youth Union" festival was held at 3 main locations: Hai Phong City, Binh Dinh Province, Ho Chi Minh City and connected online with 15 provincial-level bridges, including Quang Tri. The Provincial Youth Union Council chose Ham Nghi Primary School, Dong Ha City as the venue for the provincial festival, attracting the participation of more than 1,000 children and members. This is one of the activities within the Youth Month and responding to 5 weeks of peak competition of Quang Tri children to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification.

At the program, the Central Council of Young Pioneers launched 5 weeks of peak competition for Vietnamese children to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.

The competition starts from March 26 to April 40, 2025, with the theme "Vietnamese children celebrate national reunification".

During this time, children across the country will participate in many exciting and meaningful activities, including: children's team activities; Vietnamese children reaching out to the world, reaching high with their dreams; painting with the theme "I draw the colors of my homeland"; Vietnamese children's festival for creative learning; Uncle Ho with children competitions; activities about the source...

Participating in the program, team members and children from Ham Nghi Primary School, Dong Ha City performed 2 schoolyard performances with children at the connecting points.

On this occasion, in order to promptly encourage and help students in difficult circumstances to excel in their studies, the Provincial Youth Union presented 27 study corners, each worth 1 million VND, to children in difficult circumstances to excel in their studies in Dong Ha City.

It is known that these gifts were taken from the fund raised to build the “Red Scarf” house by the Provincial Youth Union. At the same time, Ham Nghi Primary School Youth Union was presented with a set of drums to encourage and motivate the Youth Union for effectively implementing the Youth Union program and children's movement.

The festival “Children have fun, step up to the Youth Union” is an annual activity of Vietnamese children, expressing the joy and pride of generations of team members and children about the glorious tradition of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers Team. The festival aims to create a joyful and exciting atmosphere to help children compete, strive to excel in their studies and training, together do many good deeds, and actively participate in activities organized by the Youth Union and the Team.
