According to the plan, in 2025, the entire Dak Lak province will support the construction and repair of 7,312 houses for policy families, meritorious people, poor households, near-poor households... facing housing difficulties, of which 5,891 houses will be newly built and 1,421 houses will be repaired. Of the total number of houses that Dak Lak province will support the construction and repair of in 2025, 5,405 houses will be under the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for poor and near-poor households, of which 4,285 houses will be newly built and 1,120 houses will be repaired.
Responding to the emulation movement "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide" launched by the Prime Minister and leaving no one behind, the People's Committee of Dak Lak province has established four projects to support the construction and repair of new houses for poor households and disadvantaged people in the province, in which the Provincial Police Department is assigned to preside over the implementation of Project 214 to build 4,285 new houses for poor and near-poor households in Dak Lak province.
The project has a total budget of nearly 342.8 billion VND, each newly built house is supported with 80 million VND, of which 60 million VND comes from the Central Government's support and 20 million VND from the provincial budget.
On March 2, Dak Lak Provincial Police organized a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a new house and strived to complete it by the end of October 2025 and hand it over to the people for use. The house construction standards ensure "three hard" (hard foundation, hard frame-wall, hard roof), while ensuring "synchronization, urgency, acceptance and handover to the people as soon as it is completed".
Currently, the implementation of new construction and repair of houses for policy families, meritorious people, poor households, and near-poor households in localities in the province is taking place urgently. The leaders of the Provincial Police and districts, towns, and cities do not hesitate to overcome difficulties, brave the sun to go to the grassroots to check the quality of the works, progress, and encourage contractors and construction units to speed up the progress, ensuring the plan to complete the elimination of temporary houses, dilapidated houses for policy families, meritorious people, poor households, and near-poor households as set out by the province.
