The 7th Congress of Uncle Ho's Good Children of Yen Bai province in 2025

Yen Bai - This morning - March 24, the Provincial Youth Union - Provincial Young Pioneer Council of Yen Bai organized the 7th Uncle Ho's Good Children Congress in 2025. Attending the Congress were comrade Ta Van Long - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; comrades in the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; leaders of the Provincial People's Council and People's Committee; officials and leaders of the Central Youth Union; leaders of a number of provincial departments, branches, sectors, and unions and 135 delegates of Uncle Ho's Good Children representing over 132,000 children of all ethnic groups in Yen Bai province.

The province currently has over 131,800 children studying and participating in 237 Youth Unions and 2,826 Youth Union branches. Over the years, under the guidance of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union at all levels, the attention and care of all levels and sectors in the province, the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers of the province has effectively implemented the Youth Union Work Program and the children's movement with many meaningful activities. Notably, the implementation and emulation of following Uncle Ho's 5 teachings by regularly reading Uncle Ho's 5 teachings at the beginning of class; creating a "Team Member Diary following Uncle Ho's teachings" book; effectively implementing the "Team Member Training" Program with specific training criteria, suitable for each age group, attracting a large number of children to participate.

Along with that, the competitions: "Yen Bai children learn about Uncle Ho's will", "Yen Bai children remember Uncle Ho", "Yen Bai children's dream lighting festival" have been regularly implemented, helping children nurture their dreams and ambitions towards a bright future. In particular, the "Lifting dreams" movement has been effectively implemented, helping children achieve many achievements in studying and training. Through the emulation movements, there have been over 500,000 good points; developed over 3,520 models of friends helping friends, over 300 pairs of friends progressing together regularly helping each other in studying.

Implementing Uncle Ho's teachings on "Good solidarity, good discipline", in the past time, 237 teams have organized nearly 2,000 experiential and creative activities, creative experiential recess for children; 100% of school teams have implemented the "Happy School" model; 100% of teams have built a movement to make our schools green, clean and beautiful. Teams across the province have organized propaganda and guidance for over 50,000 children to participate in learning activities, practice self-protection skills, disease prevention and control skills...

From the vibrant movements of the Team, many beautiful flowers have emerged, typical examples of children in terms of will, determination and talent. The children are not only excellent in studying and training but also leave their mark through beautiful and meaningful actions, from helping friends overcome difficulties, taking care of families of war invalids and martyrs to actively participating in humanitarian and charitable activities. Many children are dynamic Team cadres, excellent students, achieving high results in excellent student competitions, creative competitions in technical courses, information technology, sports, etc.

Speaking at the Congress of Uncle Ho's Good Children, Comrade Ta Van Long - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council praised and commended the outstanding achievements of Uncle Ho's Good Children in the past time. Comrade Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council hoped that the children of Yen Bai province would continue to strive to study, practice, emulate and follow Uncle Ho's 5 teachings, and be exemplary in the activities and emulation movements of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers Team.

Comrade Ta Van Long - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council also requested that the Party committees, authorities, and departments of the province continue to pay more attention to the work of protecting, caring for, and educating children, creating a healthy environment and the best conditions for them to study, play, practice, and actively participate in social activities, while strengthening the education of revolutionary ideals and lifestyle ethics for the younger generation, preventing and repelling social evils among adolescents and child abuse.

The Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee and the Provincial Pioneer Council have continuously built and developed a strong Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organization with many diverse and practical movements and activities suitable to the psychology of the age group, attracting the active participation of children and teenagers throughout the province.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested that all levels of the Youth Union, Young Pioneers, teachers continue to pay attention to and fulfill their noble responsibility of guiding and educating children, contributing to the development of the next generation to truly be the masters of the country, and an important driving force for our country to steadily move forward in the new era, the era of national growth.

Yen Bai Provincial Youth Union awarded Certificates of Merit to 95 outstanding children with outstanding achievements in the work of the Young Pioneers and Children's Movement in the period 2020-2025.

On this occasion, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 10 team members with outstanding achievements in implementing the Yen Bai Children's Movement to emulate and follow Uncle Ho's 5 teachings in the period of 2020 - 2025. Yen Bai Provincial Youth Union awarded Certificates of Merit to 95 outstanding children with outstanding achievements in the work of the Team and the Children's Movement in the period of 2020 - 2025; The Provincial Youth Union - Provincial Team Council awarded Certificates of Merit to 18 Team Leaders with outstanding achievements in implementing the Campaign "For beloved juniors", in the work of the Team and the Children's Movement in the period of 2019 - 2024.

The provincial Association for Promotion of Education awarded 40 scholarships, worth a total of 20 million VND. The provincial Children's Fund awarded 40 scholarships, worth a total of 40 million VND; the provincial Fatherland Front Committee awarded 7 scholarships, worth 7 million VND.
