Some OCOP products from 3 stars and above

Up to now, the whole province has 245 OCOP products certified with 3 stars or more, including 4 5-star products, 21 4-star products and 220 3-star products. In 2024 alone, the province will have 61 OCOP products granted stars, including 3 5-star products, 1 4-star product and 57 3-star products.

To achieve the above results, in recent times, the OCOP Program of the province has received the attention and direction of Party committees and authorities at all levels, the active participation of relevant departments, branches and entities. The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee issued Directive No. 32-CT/TU dated May 9, 2024 on strengthening the leadership and direction of the Party in implementing the Project "One product per commune and ward" in the province; every year, the Provincial People's Committee issues plans to orient, direct and organize the implementation of the Program. On that basis, the Office of New Rural Area Coordination and provincial departments and branches strengthen guidance for the People's Committees of districts to carry out propaganda content, register participating products, evaluate and classify OCOP products, and promote and introduce products.

Activities to support OCOP subjects are of interest such as supporting cooperatives with OCOP products to strengthen their organizational structure, supplement industries to access loans, etc.; guiding organizations and individuals to apply TCVN and QCVN and other regulations on food safety; supporting production facilities to label goods, register the right to use barcodes, register for intellectual property protection, etc.

In particular, the province has promoted the trade promotion of OCOP products through organizing consumer goods festivals, agricultural product festivals, displaying OCOP booths at major events of the province, participating in fairs inside and outside the province; trade promotion programs abroad... Along with that, the province maintains an electronic transaction information page at www.xttmbackan.gov.vn to support businesses and cooperatives with market information and product consumption connections.

Currently, the province has 19 points of display, introduction and sale of OCOP products and local agricultural products. The points of sale have proactively applied 4.0 technology in brand development, image building in distribution, marketing and promotion. OCOP products and agricultural products and specialties of the province at the points of sale all have barcode labels to trace their origin, customers can visit, shop directly or order through online applications./.
