VFF warns against using images of U22 Vietnam

The announcement on the morning of March 24 of VFF said: "Accepting the invitation of the Chinese Football Association (CFA), from March 17, the Vietnam U22 team, under the leadership of Acting Head Coach Dinh Hong Vinh, left for Jiangsu - China to participate in the international U22 football tournament CFA Team China 2025.

Since the U22 Vietnam team arrived at the tournament venue (Yancheng, Jiangsu) as well as throughout the training and competition period, the tournament organizers have welcomed them very attentively and created all favorable conditions. Up to now, the team has played two matches against U22 Korea and U22 Uzbekistan, and on March 25, they will meet host U22 China.

VFF and the Vietnam U22 team affirm that the professional activities, implemented by the organizing committee, that the Vietnam U22 team participates in all comply with the general regulations of the tournament and international practices, in accordance with the regulations on statements and use of images according to the tasks assigned by VFF."

VFF added that when social networks deliberately edited images of the Vietnam U22 team with bad intentions: "The use of images of the Vietnam team/U22 team by information sites associated with images without the consent of VFF is a serious violation of the law, some images are completely fabricated for bad purposes, causing misunderstanding in public opinion and affecting the reputation of international sports relations.

All official information related to the activities of Vietnamese football in general and the U22 Vietnam team in particular will continue to be updated through VFF's media channels and reputable media and press agencies. Fans are advised to follow information from official sources before sharing, to avoid supporting false content that violates the law."

In the second match of the CFA Team China 2025 International U22 Tournament, the Vietnam U22 team drew 0-0 with the Uzbekistan U22 team.

With 1 more point, the U22 Vietnam team temporarily ranks second on the rankings (2 points) and has a chance to compete for the championship when they meet host U22 China (leading the rankings with 4 points) in the final match on March 25.
