When the customer called the hotline number displayed on the website, the person who received the call claimed to be a hospital employee, instructed them on how to make an appointment, and requested to be friends via Zalo for confirmation. After making friends, the customer received a QR code and was asked to transfer 600,000 VND (Six hundred thousand VND) to make an appointment.
The next morning, when she went to Bach Mai Hospital to see her child as scheduled, she was shocked to discover that her name was not in the hospital system. After checking the messages on Zalo, she realized that the information had been revoked and she could not contact the staff who confirmed the appointment. At this point, she realized that she had been scammed.
