(Baoquangngai.vn) - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Bui Thi Quynh Van and provincial leaders respectfully offered flowers, incense, and observed a minute of silence to commemorate and express gratitude for the great contributions of Prime Minister Pham Van Dong.
On the morning of March 1, at the Memorial Site of Prime Minister Pham Van Dong, in Duc Tan Commune (Mo Duc), the People's Committee of Mo Duc District held an incense offering ceremony to commemorate the 119th anniversary of Prime Minister Pham Van Dong's birthday (March 1, 1906 - March 1, 2025).
Attending the incense offering ceremony were Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Bui Thi Quynh Van; Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Hoang Tuan; Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Organization Committee Lu Ngoc Binh; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Phuoc Hien; former Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Pham Dinh Khoi; leaders of departments, branches, localities; generations of descendants of the Pham family.

After the incense offering ceremony, Central Party Committee member, Provincial Party Secretary, Provincial People's Council Chairwoman Bui Thi Quynh Van emotionally wrote in the guest book: “Dear soul of the late Prime Minister Pham Van Dong! Today, March 1, 2025, the 119th anniversary of the birth of the late Prime Minister Pham Van Dong, the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Quang Ngai province forever express gratitude and remember the great contributions of the late Prime Minister to the revolutionary cause of the country and Quang Ngai homeland. The Party Committee, government, army and people of Quang Ngai vow to live and work following the example of the late Prime Minister, contributing to building the homeland and country to become increasingly prosperous, civilized and happy”.

Prime Minister Pham Van Dong was born into a Confucian family in Cay Gao hamlet, Thi Pho Nhat village, Duc Tan commune (Mo Duc), a rural area with a tradition of culture, love of learning, and a rich tradition of patriotism. Under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, young Pham Van Dong was trained to become a staunch proletarian revolutionary soldier, one of the key leaders and predecessors of the Vietnamese revolution.
