Promoting Vietnam Strategic Partnership

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang expressed his joy when Mr. Olivier Brochet, Ambassador of the Republic of France to Vietnam visited and worked with the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, believing that the meeting would achieve good results, promoting the development of cooperative relations between the Academy and French partners, contributing to bringing the Vietnam-France strategic partnership to a new level, going deeper, more substantial and more effective.

Introducing the position, role and tasks of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang expressed his agreement with the issues raised by the Ambassador to promote the implementation of agreements under the new memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and the French General Department of Public Administration (signed in 2023 during the visit to Vietnam of the French Minister of Transformation and Public Service). In particular, focusing on exchanging working delegations, researching on topics, sharing information of mutual interest, organizing delegations of officials for short-term training in France, training similar scientific research officials, training and updating knowledge for future leaders and managers of Vietnam.

Expressing his gratitude to Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang for taking the time to meet and work with him, Ambassador Olivier Brochet said that he will make every effort to contribute to bringing the Vietnam-France Strategic Partnership to a new level, in more depth, substance and effectiveness.
