The Politburo's inspection delegation works with the Hanoi Party Committee Standing Committee

On March 20, Inspection Delegation No. 1909 of the Politburo, led by Mr. Tran Cam Tu, Politburo member and Permanent Secretary of the Secretariat, had a working session with the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee to approve the draft Report on the results of the inspection of a number of key work topics in 2025 of the Politburo and the Central Party Secretariat.

Working with the delegation were Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Politburo member, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Hanoi; leaders of the city, a number of departments, branches, districts and towns of Hanoi.

At the working session, the Delegation inspected the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee on the leadership and direction of 4 contents, including: the implementation of Directive No. 35-CT/TW dated June 14, 2024 of the 13th Politburo on Party congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party; Conclusion No. 118-KL/TW dated January 18, 2025 of the Politburo on adjusting and supplementing a number of contents of Directive No. 35-CT/TW; the initial results of streamlining the apparatus, rearranging development space, wards and communes in sync with the organization of congresses and government organizations; the implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology development, innovation and national digital transformation; implementation of the Central Committee's conclusions on socio-economic development.

The delegation approved the draft Inspection Results Report; at the same time exchanged, discussed, clarified related contents, received feedback, especially lessons learned, difficulties, obstacles, recommendations and proposals from Hanoi.

Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu acknowledged and highly appreciated the coordination of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee as well as the efforts and initial results in implementing the policies, resolutions and conclusions of the Politburo and the Secretariat.

Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu noted a number of important issues, limitations and shortcomings that Hanoi needs to focus on overcoming to improve the quality, efficiency and progress of work, concretize the policies and resolutions of the Central Committee; at the same time, requested the city Party Committee and government to be proactive, not allowing the situation of pushing and avoiding.

On behalf of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, receiving the direction of the Head of the Inspection Team and the Conclusion Report of the Inspection Team, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Bui Thi Minh Hoai affirmed that immediately after the working session, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee will implement the conclusions of the Inspection Team and the notes of the Head of the Team; propose plans to implement the requirements pointed out by the Team.

Along with the solutions being implemented and new solutions, Hanoi focuses on overcoming existing limitations, speeding up progress, improving the quality and effectiveness of implementing resolutions and conclusions of the Politburo and Secretariat.

The focus is on organizing and arranging grassroots government, so that later it can best serve the people; quickly promoting solutions to implement Resolution 57-NQ/TW, making science and technology and digital transformation truly the driving force for development; well implementing Directive 35-CT/TW, Conclusion 118-KL/TW; promoting solutions for economic development, handling urgent issues related to people's lives and urban traffic./.
