After the positive effects of the Ha Giang passport, Lao Cai Province Tourism Association has collaborated with a group of young travel bloggers to create a passport to promote Sa Pa tourism.
Ho Tan Tai (also known as Win Di), one of the initiators and main person in charge of this project, said that when he received an invitation to cooperate from Mr. Pham Cao Vy - Chairman of Lao Cai Province Tourism Association, he and his team started by deeply understanding the local culture, coming up with design ideas, and choosing colors for the 'Sa Pa passport' to impress tourists.
Sa Pa is not only famous for its "city in the mist" symbol, majestic landscapes and national cultural identity, but has now also become an interactive journey of discovery through a travel passport.
Tourists can not only hunt clouds and take photos but also collect unique souvenir stamps at iconic landmarks such as Fansipan Peak, Cat Cat Village, Muong Hoa Valley, Stone Church, O Quy Ho Pass, Ta Van Village...
According to Travel Blogger Ho Tan Tai: "From the first time I set foot in Sa Pa, I always believed that traveling here is not only about discovering beautiful scenery but also an opportunity to connect, understand and love this land more. Therefore, when Mr. Pham Cao Vy - Chairman of Lao Cai Province Tourism Association suggested this project, travel blogger To Thai Hung (channel "Where to go") and I immediately implemented it, from learning more about local culture, coming up with ideas, designing wooden symbols, to choosing colors and painting to match the spirit of a "Sapa Travel Passport" - City in the mist."
The Sa Pa tourist passport is not just a souvenir book, but also opens up a whole world of experiences: Exclusive stamp collection (The iconic stamps of famous landmarks help visitors mark their journey of discovery; Visual travel guide (Suggestions for the best experiences in Sa Pa in 2025); Emotion storage (Each page in the passport has space for visitors to record their own feelings). And the journey of collecting all the stamps will be a strong motivation for visitors to be able to more fully explore the attractive tourist destinations here.
