Over the past 5 years, the team members, teenagers and children in the whole province have made continuous efforts to study, practice and actively participate in the team's activities according to Uncle Ho's 5 teachings, achieving many encouraging results.

The Provincial Youth Union at all levels has effectively implemented traditional education activities such as the "I love Vietnam" contest; journeys to historical sites; the "Repaying gratitude" and "Drinking water, remembering its source" movements; visiting and giving gifts to families with meritorious services and former youth volunteers. These activities have contributed to educating patriotism, fostering a sense of responsibility and national pride for the younger generation.

Speaking at the Congress, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Thu Trang emphasized that during his lifetime, President Ho Chi Minh affirmed that "Children are the future masters of the country. Therefore, taking good care of and educating them is the task of the entire Party and the entire people...". Imbued with his ideology, in recent years, Bac Kan province has always paid special attention to the work of caring for, protecting and educating children. Up to now, the whole province has 184 teams with more than 40,000 team members, teenagers and children.

He expressed his joy that in the past term, the work of the Young Pioneers and the provincial children's movement achieved many positive results. The movement "Vietnamese children compete to follow Uncle Ho's 5 teachings" was widely deployed; the program "For beloved juniors" supported thousands of children in difficult circumstances. The Youth Union and Young Pioneers at all levels organized many useful playgrounds, contributing to comprehensive education for children. The program "Training Young Pioneers" was positively responded to, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic, many children overcame difficulties, studied online and had good actions such as saving money for breakfast to support the epidemic prevention and control fund.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Thu Trang sent her congratulations and commended the achievements of children in Bac Kan province. She requested all levels and sectors, especially the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee and the Provincial Pioneer Council, to continue to do a better job in protecting, caring for and educating children, creating the most favorable environment and conditions for children to study, play and practice, especially children in especially difficult circumstances, children in remote areas. At the same time, encourage children to actively participate in social activities; organize many diverse and practical activities suitable to their age psychology; pay attention to educating revolutionary ideals and lifestyle ethics for the younger generation; prevent and repel child abuse and social evils among adolescents, helping them develop comprehensively in terms of morality, intelligence, physical fitness and aesthetics in association with implementing Uncle Ho's 5 teachings; build a strong Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers organization.

Do a good job of training and improving the capacity of the team of teachers who are the leaders of the Youth Union, because this is the core force that contributes to improving the efficiency and quality of the work of caring for and educating children and adolescents. Leaders with good working capacity will contribute significantly to promoting emulation movements of children in studying, working and training. Teachers and leaders of the Youth Union are shining examples for students to follow.

In particular, the Organizing Committee approved the list of 7 delegates from the province to attend the 10th National Uncle Ho's Good Children Congress in 2025.

Sideline activities of the Congress

Before the Congress, the delegation of children and their leaders held an incense offering and reporting ceremony at the Na Tu historical site - where Uncle Ho gave four immortal verses to the youth volunteer force. In addition, the delegation also participated in many meaningful activities such as visiting and giving gifts to policy families and families with especially difficult circumstances in Cam Giang commune, Bach Thong district.

On the afternoon of March 17, the delegation continued to participate in activities such as visiting and giving gifts at the Provincial Social Protection Facility, and visiting learning models at Bac Kan Secondary School.
