Dong Thap continues to improve the quality of OCOP products

According to the Implementation Plan of the One Commune One Product program in Dong Thap province, in 2025, the province will continue to maintain and improve the quality of products that have achieved 3-5 star OCOP certification.

Accordingly, in 2025, Dong Thap province will continue to deploy and develop OCOP products to promote the potential and advantages of rural areas; contribute to increasing people's income, restructuring the agricultural sector associated with the development of small-scale industry, occupations, services and rural tourism.

In particular, strive to have at least 60 new products participating in the 2025 classification assessment, with 40 3-star products and 20 4-star products (each district and city has at least 02 new products participating in the 4-star OCOP assessment).

At the same time, support at least 05 potential 5-star OCOP products to complete the dossier to request the Central Government to evaluate and recognize National OCOP products; strive to have at least 50% of OCOP products recognized in 2022 participate in the evaluation and reclassification in 2025.

In addition, the quality of recognized and valid OCOP products continues to be improved; orienting the development of key products with strengths to participate in the OCOP Program; effectively implementing trade promotion activities, encouraging the expansion of consumption markets and product promotion.
