Sharing experiences and effective reading methods and suggesting ideas and solutions to manage the future through reading with students, Professor, Dr. Nguyen Quoc Suu affirmed that books are an indispensable companion in life: “Books help stimulate critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills. Books bring diverse emotional experiences, from joy, sadness, empathy to understanding”.
Besides improving our expertise, skills and professionalism, reading also helps us explore our inner world, nurture our souls and develop our personalities; at the same time, reading helps us understand the past, appreciate cultural heritage and spread good values to the next generation.
Professor, Dr. Nguyen Quoc Suu encourages students to spend time reading books to discover the wonders that books bring.
He shared with students that the 4.0 technology revolution has brought many new reading methods and skills, but "the best way to absorb knowledge is still to seriously turn each page of the book to read and need to find books that are close to your knowledge, suitable for your level of understanding, need to choose books that have been censored, evaluated and know how to select and filter information from the books".
Professor, Dr. Nguyen Quoc Suu advised students to "practice, be diligent, persevere in reading books, consider books as a friend, a daily spiritual food, create a habit of reading books" to accumulate knowledge, wisdom, and experience; only when having real knowledge will you never be confused by the constant changes of modern life.
