Most Venerable Elder Thich Thien Nhon - Deputy Supreme Patriarch of the Council of Patriarchs, President of the Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha gave a sermon at the opening ceremony.
The Great Dharma Ordination Platform took place over 4 days (from February 28 to March 3, the 1st to the 4th of February, At Ty year) at Phap Minh Pagoda and Hoa Binh Pagoda (Can Giuoc town, Can Giuoc district) with the participation of 358 candidates.
At this great ordination platform, in addition to the "Opening the Precepts" lecture by Venerable Elder Monk Tuyen Luat Su, the Platform Construction Committee also invited the Venerable monks and nuns to teach three sessions on "The Essentials of the Precepts" to the preceptees at the two monastic ordination centers about the importance of "Receiving the Precepts - Learning the Precepts - Keeping the Precepts".

Currently, the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Long An province has a total of 320 monasteries, 28 concentrated religious activity points, 1,586 monks and nuns (728 monks and 858 nuns), and a Buddhist College to train talented and virtuous monks and nuns. Every year, there are 13 An cu ket ha residences, more than 300 monasteries for Buddhist lay people to practice and study, and social charity activities each year reach more than 100 billion VND.

He believes that the Great Ordination Platform of the Dharma is an important milestone in the process of developing and spreading the values of Buddhism, setting an example for future generations to continue to maintain and promote.
