(QBĐT) - On the morning of March 1, at Truong Son Primary and Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities, Truong Son Commune (Quang Ninh), the Provincial Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Union (VYU) of the province held a ceremony to launch Youth Month and March Border Month 2025.

Attending the event were comrade Truong An Ninh, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; representatives of local departments, branches and sectors; sponsoring units and more than 300 cadres, union members, youth and students in the area.
The launching ceremony of Youth Month and March Border Month 2025 is an activity focusing on supporting people in difficult areas in mountainous areas, border areas and areas affected by natural disasters.
The launching ceremony contributes to promoting the vanguard spirit of young people in building and defending the Fatherland; encouraging young people to carry out goals and tasks, contributing to the socio-economic development of the province.

At the ceremony, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee, the Provincial Youth Union Secretariat and accompanying units presented 20 gifts to poor households, 16 scholarships and 15 bicycles to poor students who have overcome difficulties, along with many other essential items. The total value of the gifts was about 280 million VND.
The Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee has also launched a campaign called “Young people contribute 20,000 working days to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses”. To date, Youth Union chapters at all levels have mobilized more than 3,500 working days to repair and build new houses for poor households.

Speaking at the ceremony, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department Truong An Ninh highly appreciated the role and significance of the launching ceremony. With the spirit of "Quang Binh Youth: Aspiration, pioneering, united, creative, developing, and taking the lead for the community", he hoped that the Youth Union and Association at all levels in the province would carry out practical and effective activities, in line with the practical needs of each locality.
He also suggested important contents about the pioneering role of the leader; implementation methods, contents that need to be focused on in propaganda work; organizing creative emulation movements to create the best conditions for the Youth Union to promote its pioneering role, contribute its youth, practically celebrate major holidays in 2025, welcome party congresses at all levels, towards the 18th Provincial Party Congress and the 14th National Congress of the Party. During the implementation process, it is necessary to effectively mobilize resources, call on sponsors to accompany, support, and contribute to the success of the program.
After the launching ceremony, many meaningful activities were carried out, such as: Free medical examination and medicine distribution for 200 people; virtual experience visit to Truong Son Martyrs Memorial Temple, Long Dai Ferry Terminal; support people to install applications, register for bank accounts and many other meaningful activities.
