Training on the 2025 Rural and Agricultural Census

On February 28, the Steering Committee for the 2025 Rural and Agricultural Census of Ha Giang province organized a training conference on the Household and Farm List Forms in the 2025 Rural and Agricultural Census for delegates who are members of the Rural and Agricultural Census Working Group and leaders of the Statistical Offices of districts and cities.

During the 1-day training session, delegates attending the training session were introduced, disseminated, and deployed by representatives of the Provincial Statistics Office on the 2025 Rural and Agricultural Census Plan; the process of collecting information from Household List Forms and Farm Lists; Protecting personal confidentiality in statistical surveys; Instructions on using the survey management website and using CAPI software; Practicing survey software... Thereby, helping the Survey Working Groups grasp the number of survey areas, as a basis for planning resource mobilization, selection, training of survey participants, and directing, organizing, and effectively managing the Census. Accordingly, the time to organize the 2025 Rural and Agricultural Census will be held within 30 days, from July 1, 2025 to July 30, 2025. Preliminary results will be announced in December 2025. Official results will be announced in March 2026. Thematic reports will be published in July 2026.

The 2025 Rural and Agricultural Census is one of the important Censuses of the Statistics sector, conducted periodically every 10 years to collect comprehensive information on the current situation and development of rural and agricultural areas nationwide. The results of the 2025 Rural and Agricultural Census are an important basis for serving the development of plans and strategies for rural development, agricultural, forestry and fishery areas and improving the living standards of rural residents nationwide as well as in each locality./.
