Phu Yen Tax Department merged with 3 other tax departments to form Regional Tax Department XIII.

From March 1, 2025, Decision 381/QD-BTC of the Ministry of Finance stipulating the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Tax Department officially takes effect.

 

Accordingly, the organizational structure of the Tax Department is organized from central to local levels according to a 3-level model. The Tax Department belongs to the central level with 12 units. The local Tax Department is organized according to 20 regions. The tax teams of districts, towns, cities under provinces, centrally-run cities, and inter-district tax teams (collectively called district-level tax teams) belong to the regional Tax Department.

 

With the arrangement and organizational structure according to the new decision, the local Tax Department is organized into 20 regions, headquartered in the following provinces and cities: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong, Hung Yen, Hai Duong, Bac Giang, Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho, Son La, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Da Nang, Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Binh Duong, Long An, Ben Tre, Can Tho, Kien Giang.

 

Phu Yen Tax Department merged with the Tax Departments of Binh Dinh, Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong provinces to form Regional Tax Department XIII; head office located in Khanh Hoa.

 

Previously, to prepare for the process of restructuring and streamlining the apparatus, the General Department of Taxation held a conference to prepare implementation plans, to ensure no interruption in the operations of the tax agency.
