Kinhtedothi - On March 3, 2025, the joint venture Hanoi Housing Development and Investment Corporation (HANDICO) and Viglacera Corporation - JSC will organize the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of 1,104 CT3 social housing apartments, part of the Thang Long Green City social housing project.
Deployed at land plot CT3, Kim Chung Urban Area (Dong Anh district, Hanoi), the project has a total area of nearly 3.7 hectares, including 3 units on land plot CT3 and 1 building on land plot CT4, 12 floors high, a total of 1,588 apartments, providing accommodation for about 5,429 people.
In particular, the project on land plot CT4 was started by the Joint Investor since October 2018 and completed and put into use since the fourth quarter of 2021, including a 12-storey apartment building and attic. The total construction floor area is about 44,368.7m2; basement area is 4,537m2; construction area of the first floor is about 4,010m2; floor area from the second floor to the attic is 35,821.7m2.
With 484 apartments, the project has provided accommodation for 1,527 people, not only meeting the needs of hundreds of middle-income and low-income households in urban areas and workers in industrial parks and export processing zones, but also contributing to ensuring social security, creating jobs, increasing income, stimulating consumption, and creating momentum for socio-economic development.
The project on plot CT3 consists of 3 units, each building is 12 floors high and has 1 attic. The total construction floor area is about 109,410.2m2; the basement area is 15,660m2; the construction area of the first floor is about 7,804m2; the floor area from the second floor to the attic is 85,946.2m2.
The project is expected to be completed and put into use from the fourth quarter of 2026, with 1,104 apartments, providing accommodation for 3,902 people, contributing to the implementation of the Hanoi Housing Development Plan for the 2021-2025 period and the Government's "1 million social housing apartments" project, in which Hanoi is assigned the target of building 56,200 apartments in the 2021-2030 period.
In particular, the project affirms its pioneering position in the social housing segment thanks to two core factors: the best quality of social housing and the best selling price in Hanoi at the present time. With a rounded selling price (including 5% VAT and 2% maintenance fee) of 18.4 million VND/m2, the project brings the opportunity to own a house to a large number of beneficiaries of social housing policies in Hanoi.
