The stage design is beautiful and luxurious
The play tells the story of the year 1858, when the French and Spanish allied forces opened fire on the Son Tra peninsula in Da Nang to attack Dai Nam. At that time, the Nguyen Dynasty under the reign of King Tu Duc was passive in the face of modern Western weapons, while Dai Nam's weapons and military force were still primitive and backward.
However, with the skillful fighting tactics of Nguyen Tri Phuong and Pham The Hien, the French-Spanish coalition suffered significant losses in Da Nang.
