Khanh An won the runner-up position of "Solo with Bolero 2024"

(Dan Tri) - In the final ranking night of the program "Solo with Bolero 2024", Nhat Minh excellently won the Champion title. The young singer known as the "jade girl" of the new generation of Bolero, Khanh An, won the runner-up position.

After 6 months of broadcasting with 4 tough and challenging rounds, Solo and Bolero 2024 has entered the final stage and found the three best faces to compete for the Champion title: Thuy Anh, Nhat Minh and Khanh An.

The judges in the final ranking night included: Director, Meritorious Artist Vu Thanh Vinh, famous singer Phuong Dung, famous singer Ngoc Son, singer Quang Le and singer To My. The program was led by two familiar MCs Nguyen Bao and Huynh Tho.

The contestants went through two important rounds. In the first round, each contestant chose a song to perform, including a stage set to express their personal style. This was an opportunity for them to show off their vocal technique as well as their ability to master the stage.

In the next round, the contestants had to sing in rotation as assigned by the Organizing Committee. In order to promote his strengths with the advantage of long breath and characteristic vibrato technique, Khanh An chose to perform the song Dau Chan Ky Niem to conquer the judges in the final ranking night.

Appearing on stage in a white ao dai, she delivered an emotional performance, combined with a stage production that was full of ghostly colors.

Besides, the presence of actor Anh Tu helped make the performance more dramatic, creating highlights and contributing to the climax of the performance.

Commenting on Khanh An's performance, famous singer Ngoc Son said: "Khanh An knows how to calculate her breathing meticulously, she maintains her breath very firmly. Those who sing bolero music and use falsetto skills are very risky, but you did well."

Singer Quang Le also praised Khanh An's performance in the final night: "I highly appreciate Khanh An's performance. You are no longer a contestant but have truly become a professional singer. Your live singing is truly excellent, I challenge anyone to find a single off-key note in this performance.

Khanh An sang live well, even better than all the other contestants in the final night. Not only me, but all the audience at the studio could feel that."

With the runner-up position of Solo with Bolero 2024 , Khanh An has proven the strength and determination of the young girl who is only 18 years old with lyrical music, promising many open opportunities on the artistic path ahead.

Khanh An shared that she was not too regretful about losing the championship title. Looking back on her journey in the competition, Khanh An said that the compliments and comments from the judges were the motivation that helped her improve herself.

"What I appreciate most are the extremely valuable comments and evaluations from Mr. Quang Le and all 5 judges. They recognized and highly appreciated my voice and talent.

In addition, I also received love and recognition from the audience. I think that is the highest position and what I want to receive from this competition," Khanh An confided.

As a young singer pursuing lyrical music, Khanh An revealed that her passion was influenced by her family. From a young age, she was exposed to bolero when she often listened to her father - People's Artist Nguyen Manh Hung (working at the Vietnam Opera House) and her grandfather - People's Artist Nguyen Thanh Tung (working at the Hanoi Opera House) perform. In addition, she was also guided and taught how to perform songs by her adoptive father, musician Ngo Huynh.

After the competition, Khanh An plans to focus on her studies as she prepares to graduate from intermediate level at the Vietnam National Academy of Music, while continuing to study for university entrance exams. At the same time, she also plans to release new music products to continue developing her career.
