(NLDO) – Despite the plummeting world gold prices, the prices of SJC gold bars and gold rings are stable.
On the morning of March 1, SJC, PNJ, and DOJI companies simultaneously listed the price of SJC gold bars at 88.5 million VND/tael for buying and 90.5 million VND/tael for selling, stable compared to the end of yesterday.
Similarly, the price of 99.99 gold rings and jewelry gold also stabilized around VND88.5 million/tael for buying and VND90.4 million/tael for selling.
Gold prices today are surprisingly stable despite the sharp decline in world prices. In the trading session last night - early this morning on the international market, gold prices fell continuously and closed at 2,857 USD/ounce, down 20 USD/ounce compared to the previous session. The precious metal has been falling continuously for the past week, falling from its historic peak of 2,954 USD/ounce, "evaporating" about 100 USD/ounce.
According to analysts, gold prices are under strong profit-taking pressure after a period of rapid growth since the end of last year. With the current developments, gold prices are forecast to continue to decrease in the short term.
Gold price today is stable compared to the decline of world price
Meanwhile, domestic gold prices have been falling more slowly than the world's downward trend. Some experts say that the prices of SJC gold bars and gold rings have a certain lag compared to the world's prices. Therefore, if the downward trend of world prices continues in the coming days, the prices of SJC gold bars and gold rings may adjust down faster.
Currently, the world gold price converted according to the listed exchange rate is about 88.6 million VND/tael.
