VPUB - Opening of the course "Application of new generation artificial intelligence"

Dienbien.gov.vn - On the morning of March 1, the Provincial People's Committee held the opening ceremony of the course "Application of new generation artificial intelligence" (AI) for managers and teachers in the Education and Training sector in the form of direct and online access to over 480 points of connection of Preschool Education, General Education and Vocational Education - Continuing Education Centers in the province. Attending the opening ceremony were comrades Le Thanh Do - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Lo Van Phuong - Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and 100 managers and teachers of the Education sector.

Comrade Le Thanh Do - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee delivered the opening speech of the course.

Speaking at the opening of the course, Comrade Le Thanh Do - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: The course is not only a training course but also a valuable opportunity for teachers of Dien Bien province to access new knowledge and new technology, thereby improving the quality of teaching, contributing to the development of the province's education. The course not only marks a step forward in the digital transformation roadmap of Dien Bien's education sector but also concretizes the Central Government's policy on breakthroughs in science, technology development, innovation and national digital transformation.

In order to maximize the effectiveness of the course, he suggested that the Department of Education and Training should ensure good organization and management of the participation of teachers, and continue to research and strongly deploy the application of AI in teaching, expanding cooperation with organizations and technology enterprises to improve teachers' digital capacity. The Department of Science and Technology continues to support the education sector in building digital infrastructure, creating the best conditions for the application of AI in education, and connecting technology enterprises with the education sector to update and apply the latest solutions. STEAM for Vietnam continues to accompany the education sector of Dien Bien province, providing support in terms of expertise, documents, training and expanding AI application programs in teaching.

The main goal is to help managers and teachers apply AI to management, teaching and pedagogical activities, building Dien Bien into a pioneering province in Vietnam to popularize AI skills for teachers./.
