(LĐ online) - On the morning of February 28, at the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee Hall, a regular citizen reception for February 2025 took place. Comrade Nguyen Thai Hoc - Acting Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Comrade Pham Thi Phuc - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Comrade Tran Hong Thai - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee co-chaired the reception.

Provincial leaders chaired the citizen reception

This is the first time that the heads of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee have received citizens together with the desire to listen and reach consensus in directing and resolving issues. This contributes to improving the effectiveness of resolving and handling cases; at the same time, reducing travel time and creating favorable conditions for people to participate in receiving citizens.

Attending the reception were representatives of the leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; the Party Building Committees of the Provincial Party Committee, the Judicial agencies, the Lawyers Association, the Bar Association; leaders of Da Lat City, Bao Loc, Di Linh, Bao Lam, Lam Ha and Duc Trong districts and many citizens in the whole province.

Acting Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thai Hoc emphasized: In 2024, the work of receiving citizens achieved many positive results. Basically, the issues that citizens reflected and recommended were thoroughly considered and resolved by provincial leaders at all levels and sectors, ensuring the strictness of the law; strengthening trust in the Party and the people.

However, according to comrade Nguyen Thai Hoc, through synthesis and review, there is still a lot of overlapping information, there are issues that have been resolved before but people still make recommendations. The head of the Provincial Party Committee clearly stated: Priority is given to receiving citizens who are participating in the reception for the first time; at the same time, citizens need to have an attitude of respect for the authorities when participating in the reception of citizens and have cooperation with the authorities in the process of handling cases.

For cases that have been received and the incident has been resolved by the authorities in accordance with the law, citizens are requested to strictly comply.

There were 26 cases participating in the first-time citizen reception. Here, citizens reflected on issues related to the conclusion of the Provincial People's Court on the issue of property inheritance, granting of land use right certificates, acts of property appropriation, land recovery for planning to make park land more than 20 years ago but not making a park but dividing the land into plots and selling it to other households; acts of property destruction, delay in issuing notices on the price to be paid when the State allocates land with land use fees collected without going through an auction according to Decision No. 1957/QD-UBND dated June 23, 2022 of the People's Committee of Da Lat City, affecting people's lives.

In addition, citizens also reflected on the performance of duties of the Provincial Auction Center and the Civil Judgment Enforcement Office of Duc Trong district; denounced violations of the law by some units, land compensation and resettlement issues related to residential areas and FiNom market; settlement of compensation and support for households affected by the wind power project; the proposal for job rotation did not ensure procedures; issues related to salary regime, social insurance, health insurance, etc.

Mr. Trinh Ba Dung - General Director of Sao Da Lat Company (Da Lat Sculpture Tunnel Tourist Area) proposed a number of issues at the meeting.

Some recommendations at this meeting were not given by citizens at the meetings organized by the district level. The head of the Provincial Party Committee requested that citizens participate in meetings at the district level and make recommendations to the district-level Secretaries and Chairmen.

While the district level is reviewing and resolving the matter, people should calmly wait for the results. If the district level leaders do not review, resolve or resolve the matter unsatisfactorily, people should send the petition to the provincial level. Upon receiving the petition, the provincial review and resolution team will send a notice of receipt to the people and the provincial leaders will direct relevant agencies to review and resolve the matter thoroughly. When there are results, specific notices will be sent to the people.

If people still do not agree with the resolution or have new details, they can register with the provincial level citizens. Following the above procedures will help the authorities to resolve the cases and reduce travel time for people.

In the case of a party member who is an accuser, the Acting Provincial Party Secretary emphasized: If a party member makes an accusation and the content of the accusation is not true, the relevant units need to consider and handle it strictly based on Party regulations.

Listening to and recording all opinions and recommendations of citizens who have registered to receive citizens according to regulations, in the spirit of respecting the law and ensuring the legitimate interests of the people, the presiding comrades directly expressed their opinions on each specific recommendation of the people.

At the same time, the relevant units and localities are required to respond and explain each case so that people can understand and grasp it. For some other issues that need to be investigated and carefully considered, the provincial leaders have proposed plans and assigned responsibilities and tasks as well as requested specific time for the functional agencies and local leaders to have a thorough solution and have a specific report on the results of the solution to the comrades in the Provincial Party Standing Committee.
