Dienbien.gov.vn - On the afternoon of February 28, the delegation of FPT Corporation led by Mr. Le Truong Tung - General Director of FPT Education, Chairman of the Board of FPT University, FPT Corporation had a working session with the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee on the implementation of the construction of the FPT Education complex in Dien Bien province. Receiving and working with the delegation were comrades: Tran Quoc Cuong - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Le Thanh Do - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Comrade Le Thanh Do - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the working delegation of FPT Group surveyed the proposed location for the construction of FPT Education Complex in the northern area of Thanh Truong ward, Dien Bien Phu city.

The proposed location of FPT Group is located on a 48.65ha land plot, currently expected to be rice fields, on National Highway 12, Thanh Truong Ward, Dien Bien Phu City, which has been approved for a detailed planning of 1/500 of the urban area in the Northwest of Dien Bien Phu City in Decision 583/QD-UBND dated April 7, 2023 of the Provincial People's Committee; belonging to the 1/5000 scale zoning plan of the area north of Dien Bien Phu City associated with Dien Bien Airport. Speaking at the meeting, a representative of FPT Group emphasized: The proposed location basically meets all the criteria set forth by FPT Group, however, FPT Group proposes and recommends that Dien Bien province approve the investment policy to build the FPT Education Complex project (including FPT University branch) with an area of about 10ha on the above land plot. FPT Corporation also proposed to be exempted from 100% of land rent, complete technical infrastructure around the project and not interfere with residential houses.

Also at the meeting, the Department of Construction presented two options for the land plot planned to be used for the construction of the FPT Education Complex in Thanh Truong Ward, Dien Bien Phu City. At the same time, it assessed the advantages and disadvantages of each option based on the investor's proposals.

Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Quoc Cuong emphasized: The province is committed to supporting FPT Group in the process of implementing the project, ensuring strict compliance with legal regulations. At the same time, it will propose and introduce a team of high-quality teachers and staff for the Group to choose, ensuring that they are suitable for teaching and training requirements. The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee assigned the following units: Department of Construction, Department of Finance, Department of Education and Training and a number of related units to continue to closely coordinate with FPT Group in the process of implementing the project.
