Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long affirmed the important role of youth in the cause of national construction and development. He emphasized: Youth is an important resource, a pioneer in innovation, digital transformation, environmental protection and socio-economic development. At the same time, he praised the active activities of the Youth Union over the past 20 years of organizing Youth Month, thereby contributing to spreading the spirit of volunteerism and responsibility of the young generation towards society.

He suggested that Party committees, authorities and Youth Union chapters at all levels need to deeply understand the position and role of youth as the main resource to build and develop new productive forces; as the pioneering force participating in new fields; and as an important factor to bring the country firmly into the new era.
At the same time, thoroughly grasp the direction of General Secretary - To Lam : "Young people need to clearly demonstrate their role in all activities of social life, need to be clearly aware of their responsibilities and tasks, must be the leading force in studying and training, constantly strive to master science and technology, be steadfast, determined, united, must do what is worth doing, prioritize action, say less, do more, be proactive, decisive, seize and take advantage of opportunities, absolutely not be arrogant, complacent; maintain the spirit of "self-reliance, self-confidence, self-reliance, self-strengthening, national pride"; take practical actions: be creative in work, study, scientific research; be proactive in political, economic and social tasks.
The Youth Union needs to launch and implement practical and effective activities to create strong changes in the awareness and actions of young people, contributing to the rapid and sustainable development of the country. Continue to promote the pioneering and pioneering role of young people in implementing important national issues such as streamlining the apparatus, innovation, digital transformation, environmental protection, waste prevention, etc. Strengthen solidarity and gather young people from all walks of life and all fields to promote the great potential of young people. Youth Union and Association chapters at all levels need to organize more exchange and connection programs, support young people in starting businesses, studying, developing skills, having more opportunities to develop themselves and contribute to society, enriching their homeland and country.
The Deputy Prime Minister also suggested that Party committees and local authorities continue to pay more attention to and listen to the voices of young people; from there, have specific mechanisms and policies to support young people.
