Dong Nai has many high-tech industrial parks, attracting large domestic and foreign enterprises to invest in advanced technology fields; many universities and research institutes, training high-quality human resources and scientific research; the province is digitizing government activities to better serve the people... Long Thanh Concentrated Information Technology Park is a key project of the province, aiming to build a modern digital technology industrial center. The goal is to attract businesses operating in high-tech fields such as semiconductors, data centers, artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), big data, cloud computing and blockchain. This industrial park is expected to create a strong digital technology industrial ecosystem, contributing to promoting the province's breakthrough.

In the agricultural sector, many Dong Nai farmers are leading the Southeast region in applying technology to production. Typically, installing an automatic irrigation system, with just a few operations on the phone, can water the whole garden, using drones to fertilize and spray medicine on fields or to feed and drink pigs and chickens on farms...

Amidst the turbulent flow of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution, Plan No. 433-KH/TU dated February 28, 2025 of the Standing Committee of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee implementing the goals and tasks of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW clearly defines that economic development must be based on science and technology, taking innovation as the driving force, and digital transformation as the key tool. Dong Nai's goal is to develop a sustainable digital technology industry in the province by 2030 with the core being the Long Thanh Concentrated Information Technology Park (Long Thanh Digital Technology Industrial Park); forming a digital technology industry ecosystem of the province with strategic technologies including: semiconductors, data centers, artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), big data (Big Data), cloud computing (Cloud), blockchain (blockchain) ...

Promote high-level industrial development

With the orientation of finding breakthrough development solutions in science, technology, innovation and digital transformation, Dong Nai must have new ways of doing things, new thinking, new actions, relying on science, technology and innovation as well as digital transformation to create sustainable development. At the Scientific Workshop on implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthrough development of science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation in Dong Nai province - Expert perspective, many experts and scientists have proposed practical comments and suggestions.

Typically, to promote breakthrough development in science, technology, innovation and digital transformation, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Quang Trung, Head of the Faculty of Management, RMIT University Vietnam, said that it is necessary to abandon the mindset of cheap technology and prioritize advanced technology (semiconductors, data, smart technology, green). Along with that are solutions to attract talents and experts to Dong Nai through competitive remuneration and a modern research environment. At the same time, the province strengthens international cooperation, technology transfer, and learns from advanced countries in promoting science, technology, digital transformation and innovation.

According to General Director of Long Duc Investment Co., Ltd. Ishii Hiroyuki, the key factor helping Dong Nai develop breakthrough high-tech industry is to promote the process of high-tech industrial development. In particular, the province needs to pay attention to developing large-capacity infrastructure (electricity, water, telecommunications), developing infrastructure and high-quality management and operation services inside the Long Thanh Concentrated Information Technology Park. Thereby, improving the efficiency of attracting investment, not missing the golden opportunity when large investors have a need to invest in the locality, especially in the field of high-tech development.
