Bac Giang special topic information "Leadership in the era of artificial intelligence application"

Delegates attending the conference listened to Mr. Hoang Nam Tien, Vice Chairman of FPT University Council, present a topic on leadership in the era of artificial intelligence application.

Sharing about the role of AI, Mr. Tien said that AI has a great impact on the global employment issue, those who know how to use it will be the winners. The generation that masters AI will become the leaders in this technological era.

Currently, AI is putting pressure on governments to face a “new game” in employment policy; promoting innovation in public administration models and public administration services; posing challenges for governments in poor countries. Therefore, leaders need to change their thinking, master science and technology and assert their roles.

The role of leadership in the new era is not only to deploy AI solutions but also to build an organizational culture that is agile, resilient, and innovative. Leaders must develop new skills and new intelligences to navigate a complex and ever-changing world.

Also at the conference, Mr. Hoang Nam Tien discussed experiences and strategic directions in AI application, from changing perceptions to in-depth applications, bringing value to the government and society. The construction of a provincial data model, including management of data on population, businesses, land, housing, resources, health, education, telecommunications. Data on human factors, infrastructure, basic services such as: Health, education, banking, insurance, transportation; some issues of general content of the proposed project to transform thinking and apply AI - first through training to implement the strategic orientation of Bac Giang province.

The organization of the thematic information conference aims to implement Plan No. 166-KH/TU, dated February 7, 2025 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on disseminating, propagating and implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation.

Speaking at the conference, on behalf of the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Bac Giang Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Viet Oanh thanked Mr. Hoang Nam Tien for his important and useful discussions and sharing on issues related to the era of artificial intelligence application. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that in order to create development and breakthroughs, there is nothing other than strengthening the application of science and technology. Therefore, all levels and sectors must pay special attention to and organize the effective implementation of Resolution No. 57.

Immediately after the conference, each cadre and leader fully and deeply understood the role and importance of science and technology in all areas of social life. Continue to research, study, and soon focus on deploying artificial intelligence applications in supporting task performance and work processing.
