Delegation of Ca Mau province officials visited the Consulate General of Vietnam in Sihanoukville

On the afternoon of March 24, 2025, a delegation of Ca Mau province officials led by Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Ho Trung Viet visited the Consulate General of Vietnam in Sihanoukville, Kingdom of Cambodia.

Accompanying the delegation were Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the Ca Mau City Party Committee Tran Hong Quan. Consul General of Vietnam in Sihanoukville Lai Xuan Chien received the delegation.

On behalf of the delegation, comrade Ho Trung Viet thanked the Consul General of Vietnam in Sihanoukville Lai Xuan Chien for taking the time to welcome the delegation; at the same time, invited the Consul General of Vietnam in Sihanoukville Lai Xuan Chien to arrange a time to visit Ca Mau province; hoped that in the coming time, the Consulate General of Vietnam in Sihanoukville would continue to support Ca Mau province in building friendly cooperative relations with localities of the Kingdom of Cambodia.

Vietnamese Consul General in Sihanoukville Lai Xuan Chien informed the delegation: The Vietnamese Consulate General in Sihanoukville is in charge of the consular area of 6 southwestern provinces of Cambodia, and is also a political bridge, promoting economic and cultural cooperation and development between localities of Vietnam and Cambodia.

Consul General of Vietnam in Sihanoukville Lai Xuan Chien hopes to soon visit and learn about the land, people, potential and strengths of Ca Mau province, thereby acting as a bridge to promote the cooperative relationship between Ca Mau province and Sihanoukville in particular and other localities of the Kingdom of Cambodia in general.
