At the beginning of the talk, Minister Nguyen Manh Hung reminded young people to preserve the traditional cultural features of the Vietnamese people, first of all, always remember their roots and ancestors. Whether young people study abroad or not, the first thing they must do is to maintain their roots, to be truly Vietnamese, with the language, culture and customs of the East. From that root, young people can accumulate and learn more Western knowledge in many ways. In the first opportunity to talk with the head of the Information and Communications industry, students - those who are preparing to choose their future careers and jobs - boldly shared their concerns and questions to receive directional answers and suggestions for the upcoming journey. In response to the question about how to understand a talented person from student Nguyen Ha Phan, who is studying Economics and Public Policy at Fulbright University Vietnam, from detailed and thorough analysis, Minister Nguyen Manh Hung stated his opinion: A talented person is someone who creates a lot of value for the community, country, homeland and the organization in which he works. Average work creates average people, great work creates great people. Therefore, the way to become a talented person is to choose difficult work, not be afraid of difficult work, volunteer for difficult work and even ask to do difficult work, in order to become more mature, gain more experience and knowledge.

Commenting that each person has a special talent that others do not have, the Minister analyzed: When finding one's special talent, that person will show it, contribute, create more value and will also easily love the differences and talents of others. To find a special talent, to know what one is good at, there is no other way but for each person to try and do it to the end. "A country and nation become prosperous and rich thanks to each person finding their own talent and contributing that talent to the country. Later when you go to work, many people will become leaders. Remember that the main job of a leader is to create conditions for their employees to shine. The job of a leader is to think of challenging tasks for their employees to try and through that they become talented people, contributing to the development of the organization and the country. If employees have not found their own unique abilities, leaders can suggest and allow them to try" , the Minister advised the young people. Answering the concerns of many young people about how to know what they are good at, from his own experience, Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung once again emphasized: Discovering yourself is the most important and greatest thing. To do this, you basically have to try. Therefore, in life, you should not be afraid to try, and after each try, you also need to reflect. Expanding the issue from the question "Are successful people excellent students in high school?" by 9th grade student Trinh Hoang Duy, Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung noted: Basic knowledge that young people must learn, must know and must be able to apply in daily life to be meaningful, not just learning for exams. Basic knowledge, especially knowledge learned in high school, will follow you throughout your life, contributing to each person's success. Using digital technology to redefine professions During nearly 3 hours of Q&A, many young people raised the issue of choosing a career, future career orientation, concerns about being eliminated, digital technology, and artificial intelligence (AI) taking away their jobs, asking for advice from the head of the IT&T industry. Students, especially those who have graduated and are about to graduate, also expressed interest in opportunities and development trends of specific fields and professions such as physics, psychology, financial technology - Fintech, data analysis, law, communications, and marketing. Pointing out that the perception that AI and technology development will replace and take away human jobs is an incorrect understanding, Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung affirmed: No matter how technology develops, human work is still a lot, infinite. AI should be understood as an assistant, it does not replace but is within human control, helping people work better.

Regarding the story of choosing a career, the head of the Information and Communications industry suggested that young people can choose according to the intersection theory of 3 circles: What they like, what they are good at, and what is in high demand, creating many values for society. In case they do not know what they like and are good at, young people can choose a career to study and work; But once they have chosen, they must study, work to the end and reach the level of excellence. Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung also advised young people in life to take advantage of the word "and", instead of thinking according to the word "or", because "The word 'and' is still a good approach in all cases!" . Applying to the specific question of Nguyen Thang Long, the advice given by Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung to this third-year student at the National Economics University is to both study at university and study for additional certificates to serve future work. Because, studying for a certificate is a different way of learning, involving more practice, which will complement university learning.

The current young generation is the generation that redefines everything, including professions, because we are moving to a completely new environment, the digital space. Therefore, every profession has opportunities, on the condition that the professions, especially the old ones, must be redefined. Using digital technology to redefine professions, the living space of young people will be limitless. Expressing the hope that young people will be the ones to change Vietnam, change the world, through the story of digital transformation, redefining professions, Minister Nguyen Manh Hung also pointed out: "You are having an extremely great opportunity that has almost never existed in human history, which is to be allowed to redefine your profession. And so, you will be the ones to lead the way.” Source: https://vietnamnet.vn/the-he-tre-dang-co-co-hoi-dinh-nghia-lai-nganh-nghe-mo-rong-khong-gian-song-2303082.html
