No later than 12 noon on January 28 (29th of Lunar New Year), all goods will be delivered to the recipient by Vietnam Post.
According to Vietnam Post, from the beginning of January 2025 until now, the output of goods sent by post has increased by 25% compared to before. At times, it reached more than 900,000 postal items/day. Goods sent during this time are mainly food, clothes, cosmetics, etc.
With the principle of delivering all goods within the shift and within the day, the unit has proactively arranged appropriate delivery forces and postmen for each delivery route. At the same time, the delivery is organized on Saturdays, Sundays and outside of business hours, especially in areas with large postal output, to ensure that goods are delivered accurately to the recipient as quickly as possible.
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hoang - Deputy Director of Network Operation Center, Vietnam Post Corporation - said that the output of goods increased, the sorting line of the enterprise had to operate 24/7, all forces were mobilized to the maximum to carry out the circulation of goods.

The Postal Transport and Logistics Company (a unit in charge of level 1 transport) always closely monitors and arranges suitable vehicles to transport goods quickly and safely. All specialized vehicles are running at maximum capacity and are organized to rotate continuously to meet customer needs. Accordingly, each day there are nearly 2,400 trips transporting goods, postal items, letters and newspapers. In addition, the unit also mobilizes nearly 350 social vehicles to participate in transporting goods on this occasion.
Vietnam Post Corporation has deployed forces to closely monitor the flow of goods on the network, especially at hot spots such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and regional exploitation hubs. The Network Operations Center monitors in real time and will send warnings about delivery speed and inventory volume during shifts at each unit with the goal of not having inventory during the day.
“For postal items running on the system until today (January 24), Vietnam Post will deliver them to recipients before January 26 (27th of Tet). At the latest, by 12 noon on January 28 (29th of Tet), all goods will be delivered to recipients,” Mr. Hoang pledged.
In addition, the central post offices of provinces/cities will be open to serve people and customers until January 27 (28th of Tet) and reopen from January 31 (3rd day of Tet). District post offices, and/or Commune Post Offices - Culture, based on the actual situation, customs and practices of each specific area, the provincial and city post offices will publicly announce the opening hours and arrange the number of transaction staff to optimize customer service efficiency.
