Implementing Decision No. 45/2016/QD-TTg dated October 19, 2016 of the Prime Minister on receiving dossiers and returning results of administrative procedure settlement via public postal services. On January 19, 2021, the Provincial Police and Dong Nai Provincial Post Office signed a Cooperation Agreement No. 32/CATDN-BĐTĐN on providing services of receiving dossiers, returning results of administrative procedure settlement and collecting fines, returning temporarily detained documents in the field of traffic via the Post Office.
After 3 years of implementing the Cooperation Agreement, the Provincial Police and the Provincial Post Office have achieved very encouraging results. The two sides have coordinated to carry out many meaningful activities, from providing public postal services to serving public administration work, actively contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality, contributing to the reform of administrative procedures, reducing workload, improving the efficiency of management and service activities of state administrative agencies, which have been supported and agreed by the people.
Speaking at the conference, Director of Dong Nai Provincial Post Office Mr. Nguyen Nhu Thuat said that with the deep attention of the Provincial Police leaders, today the two sides signed a new Cooperation Agreement to mark an important turning point in the cooperative relationship between the Post Office and the Provincial Police. “With a widespread post office system throughout the province and a team of enthusiastic and professional staff, the Provincial Post Office is committed to providing the highest quality service, ensuring that the receipt and return of administrative procedure results take place quickly, safely and securely. We believe that this cooperation will contribute significantly to improving the quality of service to the people, while promoting the overall development of the locality” – Mr. Nguyen Nhu Thuat shared.

The signing and implementation of the new cooperation agreement will continue to facilitate and meet the needs of organizations and individuals in sending documents, receiving results of administrative procedures under the jurisdiction of the Provincial Police and collecting fines, returning temporarily detained documents in the field of traffic through the public postal service; saving time and travel costs, for the benefit of organizations and individuals. At the same time, it will help the Provincial Police increase the number of complete public service records for administrative procedures; strengthen the position and role of the Provincial Post Office in implementing administrative reform in the coming time.
For this cooperation to be most effective, it is not only necessary to have close coordination between the two sides but also to listen to feedback from the people to continuously improve the quality of service. Therefore, the leaders of the Provincial Post Office hope to continue to receive support and close direction from the leaders of the Provincial Police as well as support from the functional agencies in Dong Nai province.
Also at the conference, Colonel Tran Anh Son - Deputy Director of the Provincial Police Department, thoroughly grasped the contents of cooperation and directed the leaders of professional departments, the Police of districts and cities, in the coming time to comprehensively coordinate in all areas that the Provincial Post Office can provide. "Dong Nai Provincial Police will coordinate even better to work with the Post Office to serve the people better and better in accordance with the direction of the Prime Minister and the Minister of Public Security", Colonel Tran Anh Son emphasized.
