Mr. Dinh Van Thieu, Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, said that the Van Phong - Nha Trang expressway is over 83km long, passing through Ninh Hoa town and 3 districts of Van Ninh, Dien Khanh, Khanh Vinh of this locality. The project has a total investment of over 11,800 billion VND, with Project Management Board 7 (PMU 7) as the investor, and is scheduled to be completed in December 2025.

According to Mr. Thieu, the project has so far completed more than 70km, reaching a production rate of over 91%. Currently, contractors are speeding up the construction progress of the remaining 13km at the beginning of the route, striving to complete the project by April 30 this year, 8 months ahead of schedule.

Khanh Hoa – Buon Ma Thuot Expressway Project, component project 1 is over 31km long, with a total investment of VND 5,333 billion, located entirely in Khanh Hoa province.

According to the report of the Ministry of Construction, the Khanh Hoa – Buon Ma Thuot expressway project still has many locations where the land has not been handed over, the construction output is still low, not meeting the set plan. Construction units are focusing on completing the first 20km of the route by the end of this year; the remaining section is expected to be completed by the end of next year.

The third component of this project is about 48km long and is located in Dak Lak province, with a total investment of 6,165 billion VND. The investor strives to complete the project in 2025, according to the direction of the Prime Minister.

The Chi Thanh – Van Phong Expressway is over 48km long, passing through Phu Yen province, with a total investment of over 10,733 billion VND, invested by Project Management Board 7.

According to the Ministry of Construction, the highway started construction in January 2023 and is expected to be completed in December 2025. However, the construction output to date has only reached 69.94%, 0.69% behind schedule. The reason is that the quarry materials are mixed with boulders and orphaned rocks, and the weather in the highway construction area often has heavy rain, affecting the progress. Contractors are working in "3 shifts, 4 teams" to complete the project before December 31, according to the contract schedule.

After listening to the report, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long commended the efforts of localities, investors and construction units in site clearance and construction.

The Government leader requested that the three localities where the expressway passes must continue to be determined in clearing the land. As for contractors who do not have land, they should have initiatives to proactively work gradually, so that when land is available, they can speed up the process.

The Deputy Prime Minister also requested that investors direct consultants and contractors to review and update construction progress to adjust actual work. If necessary, they must increase personnel, increase construction resources, and handle local items with appropriate solutions.

In addition, the Deputy Prime Minister requested relevant units to be more determined and make more efforts to meet the schedule of completing projects in the list of 3,000km of expressways by 2025.

Van Phong - Nha Trang Expressway is gradually completed, proposed to be put into operation during Tet After a period of "overcoming mountains and forests" for construction, the Van Phong - Nha Trang Expressway worth nearly 12,000 billion VND through Khanh Hoa province has been formed, and the joint venture of contractors proposed to put into operation nearly 70km to serve people during Tet.
