From 5:00 p.m. on March 12 to 8:00 a.m. on March 17, the Tax Department will temporarily suspend a number of electronic tax systems to serve the upgrading and conversion of tax agency categories.
The Department of Taxation (Ministry of Finance) has just sent an urgent dispatch to its affiliated units and taxpayers regarding the temporary suspension of the electronic tax system to upgrade and meet the restructuring and reorganization of tax agencies.
According to the announcement, only the electronic tax payment function on electronic tax systems will be temporarily suspended, including: e-commerce portal; electronic portal for households and individuals doing e-commerce business on digital platforms; electronic tax application - eTax; electronic tax application for individuals (Icanhan).
In addition, the eTax Mobile application; the information portal system serving information exchange with external units and organizations (GIP/T2B) also temporarily stopped operating.
Meanwhile, other subsystems are still operating and receiving taxpayers' records. However, results will only be returned after the upgrade and conversion are completed.
The upgrade and conversion period is from 5:00 p.m. on March 12 to 8:00 a.m. on March 17. Outside of this time, tax systems will continue to operate normally.
Other electronic tax systems such as the electronic invoice system, the electronic information portal for foreign suppliers, the Tax Department's electronic information system (website) and the tax procedure service industry management system (THI) are still operating normally.
Taxpayers continue to carry out tax administrative procedures (except electronic tax payment) on electronic tax channels, directly receive, and post during the upgrade and conversion process. However, the settlement and return of results may be delayed.
