Government members for the 2021 term

(NLDO)- The organizational structure of the Government for the 15th National Assembly term includes 14 ministries and 3 ministerial-level agencies.

On February 18, at the 9th extraordinary session, National Assembly deputies voted to pass two resolutions on the organizational structure of the Government and the number of Government members for the 15th National Assembly term. Accordingly, the organizational structure of the Government includes 14 ministries and 3 ministerial-level agencies.

The 14 ministries of the Government of the 15th National Assembly term include: Ministry of National Defense, Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, Ministry of Construction, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Education and Training, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religions.

The three ministerial-level agencies of the Government include: State Bank of Vietnam, Government Inspectorate and Government Office.

Regarding the structure of the number of Government members, the National Assembly resolved to have 25 members including the Prime Minister, 7 Deputy Prime Ministers and 13 Ministers and Heads of sectors.

Thus, the Government members for the 2021 - 2026 term after being reorganized are as follows:

9. Minister of National Defense Phan Van Giang

10. Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang

11. Minister of Home Affairs Pham Thi Thanh Tra
