A loud explosion erupted from a pho restaurant in Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City, causing the tempered glass door to shatter and scatter. Many witnesses were frightened and ran away to save their lives.
Tonight (March 23), Ho Chi Minh City Police are coordinating with An Loi Dong Ward Police to blockade and examine the scene of the explosion at a pho restaurant on Nguyen Co Thach Street.
Initial information, at around 8:20 p.m., many people walking on Nguyen Co Thach Street, An Loi Dong Ward heard a loud explosion coming from a pho restaurant on the side of the road.
The huge explosion shattered the tempered glass windows and sent them flying everywhere. Many motorbikes parked in front of the shop were also knocked down onto the sidewalk.
In addition, many signs in front are damaged and fallen.
Upon receiving information about the incident, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police of Ho Chi Minh City Police were present to handle the scene.
Authorities initially determined that the explosion did not cause any injuries. The cause of the explosion may have been a gas leak.
