(NLDO) - Son Tra Peninsula (Da Nang City) is an ideal destination for young people who love nature, especially hiking.
In mid-March, Son Tra Mountain (Son Tra Peninsula, Son Tra District, Da Nang City) is in a very beautiful season. The weather is cool, with sunshine and light wind, very ideal for hiking - walking to explore nature.
Hiking Son Tra - ideal activity for family and friends on weekends
An ideal walking trip will start early in the morning and end when the sun is at its peak. From the city center, visitors follow Yet Kieu Street (Tho Quang Ward, Son Tra District) for about 20-30 minutes, on the right hand side you will see the entrance. Motorbikes and cars can continue to move to the top of Son Tra Mountain.
However, for safety reasons on the steep slopes, scooters must be parked at the security gate at the foot of the peak and a specialized motorbike must be rented. As soon as you arrive, you will clearly feel the cool green space, fresh air and a more pleasant climate than the inner city.
Among many ways to relieve stress after days of work and study, many young people have chosen hiking on the path leading to Ban Co peak to have a "green" experience and bring good health to themselves.
"My family often trains here and there is a running competition coming up so we need to train more. As an athlete, training is necessary, but recently I have seen many young people participating in hiking activities, which is very good because it not only helps us stay healthy but also gives us interesting experiences with nature here," Huynh Trung Kien (running athlete) shared.
Many professional athletes also choose this route to practice and improve their health.
The whole family walks together to exercise.
Day hiking activities are popular with many young people. To ensure safety, each hiking group should have a leader. According to experience, participants should prepare physically, bring only necessary and light items, have knowledge of the route, and understand the weather.
Also, listening to your body, going in groups and respecting nature here are very important.
"Ban Co Peak is a place everyone should visit. Standing here, you can see the whole view of Da Nang City and the sea. Today is the weekend, many people come up here, but it's a bit foggy and cold. This is the first time I've experienced walking up here. Although it's a bit tiring, I feel very refreshed," said Tran Minh Toan (who experienced hiking with the group).
Many young people still choose to hike in early summer despite the cold fog.
Gen Z in Da Nang increasingly loves activities in harmony with nature
Articles sharing interesting experiences, spreading the spirit of green living and the Son Tra hiking movement among young people
After each hike, impressive photos from Ban Co peak, videos of journeys exploring lush green mountains and forests, and moments of immersing themselves in nature,... are all enthusiastically shared by Da Nang's Gen Z on social networking platforms.
These posts are not only a place to share experiences but also spread inspiration and encourage the community to participate. Thanks to this strong spread, the hiking trend in Son Tra is increasingly attracting a large number of young people, contributing to promoting the natural beauty of Da Nang and raising awareness of health training.
